Summary: Beautiful location and condo! The home itself was clean and lovely with all the amenities. Unfortunately when I arrived and headed out to the balcony for the stunning views and a glass of wine, I was immediately stung numerous times by a paper wasp. I realized there were a number of them flying around. I quickly discovered they had burrowed and built a nest in the chair cushion. So disappointed I wasn't able to enjoy the balcony during my stay because of this... the balcony and views were the reason I booked this place! Although the house was very clean, nothing had been done to clean up the balcony. The carpet, cushions and patio furniture were all old and dirty. Cobwebs all over the railing. I'm sure this is why the wasps were able to nest. Owners definitely need to get on this. My stings and swelling are healing but it would be very scary if another guest had a bad reaction or worse.

Summary: The property was spotless. Awesome view. A large and impressive collection of books covering every part of the world is nicely organized. Spacious and comfortable. Did not get the exact address and unit number sent to us by the property mgmt firm, but managed to find it without too much trouble, based on the pictures (even though we arrived later in the evening) ... others might have more difficulty, so they really need to include the exact address detail when communicating the access code.

Summary: Unfortunately there is an issue existing between the property owners and the dock/elevator/marina owner. No one is allowed to use the dock, the beach, the elevator to the beach AT ALL. Our unit was fabulous...I was ready to move in permanently. However, the inability to use the lake itself from this property is a HUGE issue. The information shared by this property owner dates back to February and the note makes it appear that there was a maintenance repair going on. We "assumed" that meant the issue would be resolved by the summer and that we would be able to use the dock and lake as we have in the past. At no point in the VRBO description of the unit/property was it indicated that the lake was unavailable for use. When we arrived on a hot July day and walked to use the lake, much to our dismay we could not access. What a disappointment! The unit itself is wonderful and well appointed. If you want to sit on the porch and enjoy the view, this is the place for you. It's a great location to enjoy all that the area has to offer. Just don't expect to swim.

Summary: We loved this place. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful! The only issue is that the a/c in the second bedroom did not work. We reported it as soon as we arrived but no one came to fix it. Since it was just my daughter and I we closed off that side of the home and stayed in the master together (so basically turned into a one bedroom/one bathroom instead of 2/2). If my entire family were with me it would not have worked.
