Positive: Amazing B&B - the breakfast was incredible as Valerie is literally a trained chef and knows how to do so many great dishes. She also makes their own yogurt, granola, icecream - all insanely good. The amenities at the location are top notch. They’ve done an amazing job at renovating with modern touches to an old historical building and Jason definitely knows how to cater to guests given his extensive background with international hotel management! Outstanding place to stay and we will definitely be back - for both the accommodations and the people.

Negative: Nothing - it was wonderful!

Summary: Absolutely fantastic! One of the best B&B stays we’ve ever had - such great people.

Positive: We can’t say enough great things about our experience at the Guesthouse. Every detail was amazing. Jason & Valerie were exceptional hosts. Genuinely lovely people!! They made us feel so welcome and at home. We enjoyed the breakfast on the deck with fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, granola and the midnight snack homemade ice cream snack!!! The room was large and with a very comfortable bed … amazing nights sleep. Canandaigua was worth the ride & we will be back. No doubt where we’ll look to stay next time.

Summary: We had an amazing weekend stay at the Guesthouse!! They made us feel like family!!

Positive: This guest house is charming and immaculate! We loved the experience of being in an 1840s mansion, with the comfort and freshness of a modernly restored home. Jason and Valerie are wonderful hosts, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect - letting us use their bikes to explore the town, setting out warm, freshly baked cookies in the afternoon, and inviting us to join them on their beautiful covered porch for cheese and wine. And importantly, the bed was super comfortable! My husband slept through the night for the first time in months! Also, we loved their charming dogs, Lola and Hope, who are extremely people friendly and helped make us feel at home.

Negative: We loved the feeling of being in town, but recognize that those looking for the experience of being on the lake might not be as happy with the location, which is about a mile walk away.

Positive: Room was overly spacious and comfortable; large bathroom - especially appreciated the heated towel bar! Hosts were especially gracious and friendly.

Negative: A little easier plug-in for my cpap machine, which the host said he would attend to promptly.
