Summary: We had 10 adults and 10 kids infant to age 8 and had a great time. The boat was nice for fishing and the side yard was perfect for kickball and soccer. The fire pit had comfy chairs and the beds were comfy too. The commercial range and superbly equipped kitchen were a great feature as we love to cook and most places that rent to large groups don’t actually have a kitchen equipped to cook for large groups. This place does.

Summary: If a "Rustic" up-north vintage cabin-like experience is what you are looking for, this is your place. If you are looking for a modern lake home feeling, keep looking. There were 18 adults, and one child in our group, and all enjoyed their stay here. Some of them had childhood memories of their cabin days growing up and truly enjoyed the ambiance. The 2 things that stuck out were the large dining table we could all fit around, and the new large walk-in tiled shower in the small house that Grampa and Grandma stayed in.

Summary: We had 18 people, 8 adults and 10 children, at Clam Lake Lodge for a long weekend and everyone had a great time. We kept busy boating, swimming, hanging out in the bar area, using the fire pit and hiking at Copper Falls State Park. There was plenty of space for all of us between the main house and the cabin next door, and Clam Lake Junction just down the road had anything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and the lake offered lots of fun for our group. The property managers were responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay. This was a vacation with my parents, siblings and all of our kids. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing as well as big common space to all be together! We all liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom and beds were comfortable. When it rained, we enjoyed playing games at the tables with booths or big family games at the huge, long kitchen table. When the sun was shining, we enjoyed the beautiful lake! We would definitely visit again!

Summary: This place is AMAZING!!! We stayed here the end of July with 11 people ranging in ages from 12-76. The house is absolutely HUGE and perfect for large groups. There is plenty of space to get away from each other and the additional house on the property was great for some of our guests needing to get some work done while we were there. My father uses a motorized scooter and was able to maneuver about the house without any difficulty in the scooter. The bar area was perfect for everyone with the pool table, dart board, and big hunter game. The kitchen was amazing for our large group and being able to cook for everyone all at once was fantastic and helped to not keep us in the kitchen all day. The boat was an added bonus for the kids to be able to knee board, fish, and just for some nice relaxing boat rides. Just an FYI the non wake hours are only from 11-3, not a big deal, our kids would have been on the boat knee boarding all day had it been allowed. The outdoor space is magnificent from the back deck, side yard, small disc golf area, and the fire pit, we lived at the fire pit every night!!!! The response from everyone was practically immediate and spot on with everything from simple questions to needing gas in the boat. We cannot boast enough about our experience at this location. This was our first time doing a large family outing and we can't thank you enough for the amazing experience we had. Make sure to stop at some of the local bars up the road too, such a great time!

Summary: We loved Clam Lake Lodge! The property was exactly what we needed for two families to get away with 4 kids between the ages of 6-11. Makalya, the property manager, was wonderful to work with. She was exceptionally responsive and helpful. The space itself had all the things we needed for a wonderful trip. We were disappointed that the owner made the decision to include a picture of the Big Green Egg with the online pictures of the property but won't allow renters to use it. The long description of the property says grill use but it's buried and not explicit that the Egg use isn't allowed. I wish they had only included the grill picture because by the time we heard back that the owner would not allow us to use the Egg, we had already shopped and planned to smoke some dinners. Over our week stay we only caught one very small fish and the lake water was chilly but that didn't stop the kids from swimming and the pontoon was perfect! Overall we had a great stay and have fabulous memories from our week at Clam Lake Lodge!

Summary: The main lodge was really great. The bedrooms were large and it was a huge bonus that each had its own bathroom. The bar area was amazing, so much fun. The kitchen was perfect for our large group to cook for several people and then use the keyhole bar for a buffet style service. Unfortunately the wapiti cabin had a few issues including a mouse problem and gas leak. The leak was repaired immediately, so we appreciated the responsiveness. Overall, the place was a lot of fun. I would consider this property again in the future.
