They take great pride in the cottage, especially regarding cleanliness and care—it was spotless throughout. The location is fantastic, just a short distance from a beautiful beach and forest, making it ideal for peaceful walks and family outings. The cottage itself was cozy, very well maintained, and equipped with everything we could need. It felt like a true home away from home. The private garden was a real highlight—stunning and perfect for relaxing or enjoying a barbecue in the fresh air. During our stay, the tulips were in full bloom, adding to the charm. We were also touched by the thoughtful little extras, like tea, coffee, and delicious homemade biscuits waiting for us on arrival. We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay and were sad when it was time to leave. Positive: Owner met me on arrival to give me the key and show me around. A lovely gentleman who gave me the impression that nothing was too much trouble. Although staying on business, I would not hesitate to recommend this property for a leisure stay. Clean, comfortable with well-equipped kitchen and delightful surroundings. The cottage has its own garden with a barbecue. At the time of my stay the tulips were in full bloom and looked magnificent! There was tea, coffee provided and some delicious home made biscuits.

Summary: Clean, comfortable, well-equipped and only ten minutes away from Bude. Highly recommended!

Positive: The property had everything you needed and loved the private garden. The hosts were lovely and the little gesture of scones were just what we needed after a long travel. The next village Kilkampton had great takeaways and a Coop to stock up plus Sandymouth beach is just perfect .

Negative: The standard of cleaning could of been a bit more thorough but didn’t put me off.

Positive: The homeowners were very attentive and welcoming, the house is accessible and has a great garden, great parking space and brilliant facilities.

Negative: There was not anything I did not like. However, the shower pressure could have been a tad stronger.
