Positive: The host Edgar is great, and willingly offers his help. The room is clean and uniquely decorated, There is even a small courtyard all to yourself. The price is very competitive too.

Negative: The road to the town center is a little dusty, but Edgar offered to pick you up, which is very helpful.

Positive: A gorgeous, traditional property in San Pedro, it had everything we needed, lovely colourful decor and was super clean. Edgar and his wife were exceptional hosts and couldn’t do more for their guests - free bikes and drop off/pick ups in San Pedro town were a lovely touch - we felt extremely welcome and appreciated their kindness. We ended the stay with a lovely knitted llama, gifted by Edgar and handmade by his mum, to remember an amazing stay.

Negative: Nothing - we would highly recommend!

Summary: Incredible and unique stay with fantastic hosts - we would love to stay again!

Positive: Edgar was absolutely wonderful as a host he provided an airport pick up and drop off which made the start and end of our stay really relaxed. The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was generally cool but on a very hot day Edgar offered a fan which was much appreciated. The outside seating was also a lovely feature of our room. Free filtered water also very useful.

Negative: Nothing really as others have mentioned it is a small walk in to the town but this can be broken up with a visit to the French bakery. Lots of street dogs around but all very friendly.

Positive: Truly could not have hoped for a better experience staying in San Pedro. The great reviews are not exaggerated. The place itself is incredibly charming and comfortable with attention to detail, great wifi, and daily cleaning. But what made it so wonderful was the hospitality and all the ways the staff went above and beyond to check on me and ensure I had everything I needed. Would stay here again.

Positive: Edgar is a superior owner and host along with his wife Sylvanna. My flight to SPDA had changed to a late evening arrival and I had informed Edgar of this. Not knowing transportation availability at Calama airport, Edgar was there to pick me up. Indeed as I later found out there are transport agencies eager to meet your flight. Cost to SPDA is about 15,000Ch. pesos. My accommodation was in the style of a casita, a comfortable post adobe brick space with double bed, separate bathroom with hot water along with a separate kitchen room with hot water maker and panini toaster. A refrigerator keeps any restaurant leftovers safe. The feel of the property really embraces life in the desert. Tasteful and colorful artifacts adorn the walls and outside sitting area. I will return to Ckuri Atacama again. The people in SPDA look out for each other as a solid quality. Thank you Edgar for helping me navigate SPDA.

Negative: I don't have any particular negative impressions of staying at Ckuri Atacama. Be aware that the town is sparse with street signs, if you're used to navigating that way. The mid day summer heat can be oppressive. Wear hats and use sunscreen protection. For this reason, the businesses stay open later into the evening.

Summary: Edgar is a very caring and helpful human being and represents the best of SPDA.

Positive: The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, and very new. It was a 10 minute walk to the centre, so a good location for the price. Warm shower was lovely. Each room has a little balcony and a mini fridge making self-catering easy. There is really cold filtered water available in the main area, saving us lots of money and hassle.
