Upon arrival, we were offered a trial upgrade from a Beach Superior Loft to a Sunset Water Villa with Jacuzzi – and it was simply breathtaking. To our surprise and delight, the upgrade was extended for the entire stay, which made our holiday truly unforgettable. The resort itself is stunning and beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The all-inclusive services were excellent – from the food and drinks to the attentive and friendly staff, everything exceeded our expectations.

The island is large enough for relaxing walks, especially at sunset. Special thanks to Mr. Maan and Mr. Shameem in the restaurant — their energy and friendliness really stood out and made the experience even better.

Negative: Overall, the resort did not meet expectations for the price (about $12,000 for 7 nights including seaplane). • Value for Money: Extras are overpriced. A couple’s massage was $400 (even $259 with a voucher). Coffee at breakfast was not included and cost $10, which feels unreasonable given the room rates. We also paid $1,800 in additional charges for activities and dinners. • Service: The spa manager (Rai) was rude when I tried to change my appointment — training on client communication would help. Buggy service was only offered at check-in, and after 2 PM there was no housekeeping. • Food & Drinks: Overall quality was good, but not consistent. Fruits were sometimes poor (e.g., watermelon always bad), which is disappointing compared to other, less expensive resorts. • Honeymoon Package: Very underwhelming — just a bamboo “Happy Honeymoon” sign and some fruit of mixed quality. • Facilities: Pool is too shallow, and small details like the lack of included coffee reduce the luxury feeling. Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Cinnamon! The resort is stunning and the staff were so friendly, they really made our holiday extra special. The buffet had a great variety of international and local dishes, and everything was delicious. The cocktails at the pool bar were amazing too! We stayed in an overwater bungalow and it was gorgeous, such an unforgettable experience. The reef right by the bungalows is beautiful, with loads of fish, turtles, eagle rays, and even reef sharks. The snorkel trip with nurse sharks was incredible, and the on-site dive center has excellent, qualified staff if you want to explore more. The seaplane back to Malé only takes 25 minutes (or 1h30 by speedboat), which made it super convenient. It was honestly hard to leave. I wish I could name every single staff member to thank them, they truly made our trip memorable. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! ❤️
