Positive: A beautiful place to stay in Champagne! Perrine and Xavier were excellent hosts and their beautiful accomodation is very well equipped (including a full kitchen with washer/tumble) and lots of lovely touches, like gorgeous Lehman Champagne glasses in the cupboard and my favourite bit was the fully stocked fridge of Champagne on arrival! (Available to purchase) I enjoyed selecting a bottle to drink and relax in their grounds. My children especially loved feeding the goats and playing with the swings. A great place to stay for the whole family, and so close to get to Epernay too.

Positive: The rural location, tranquility, within easy reach of places of interest, the warmth & friendliness of the owners, the family goats & the selection of reasonably priced bottles of champagne in the fridge

Negative: Nothing to dislike about the actual property. If I was being really picky then it was missing a few basic kitchen items like a block of cutting knives & baking trays and the face/hand towel provided in the bathroom was rather on the small side.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Malmaison and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again
