Positive: Very quite, private, comfy, and clean It would be a nice touch to have bird feeders and humming bird feeders. They kept coming up to the porch. We will definitly be back.

Negative: The garbage disposal drain really needs a good cleaning....it really smelled bad! 🤢

Positive: The property was clean, organized, and set up nicely. The bedrooms and bathrooms were accommodating and the beds were comfortable. The view was amazing and the area surrounding it was very quiet.

Negative: The fireplace could use an upgrade as it had a rusted hole in it. We didn’t have access to an outside garbage can. The place could use an indoor door mat and maybe a couple area rugs. A cutting board and a few more pots and pans would be nice too.

Summary: This was what we needed. Peaceful, high up in the mountains and amazing!

Positive: The facilities were wonderful. The cabin is nestled on the upper part of the mountain with wonderful view of the surrounding country side. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Although the cabin has several others around it, it is positioned so as to feel very secluded. I would recommend this for a couple, young family and or place to retreat and recalibrate. The kitchen and ammenities are great along with the washing and drying facilities. Wi-Fi worked well and the beds were very comfortable.

Negative: There was only one concern. Depending on how you secure your directions Hurricane Helen washed out one of the approaches. It is better to enter on Dogwood across from the yarn store. We found ourselves stuck on a narrow road without space to turn around one night after dark. So make sure you know the way. Also in the winter during inclimate weather even with 4 wheel drive getting in would have been very difficule without chains or studs. I'm not sure there legal in NC so check for information.

Positive: It was tucked up in the mountain with the most amazing views. It was clean, comfortable and so cute. Secluded but closer to town. It was the perfect getaway for our daughter's bday!

Negative: Maybe have two more chairs for table. And binoculars would be great!!

Positive: It was my first time on a mountain so very scary getting up there but definitely worth it. The places is beautiful the windows made me feel like I was outside which is a plus because I love nature and enjoying looking at the wildlife (chipmunks & birds mostly) that passed through.

Positive: Beware when reserving this cabin. After you have finished your reservation the rental company has you download another app so you can sign a rental agreement. Then they are constantly emailing and texting. I got over 20 email and text. I have rented several cabins in the past and have never had to jump through so many hoops just to rent a cabin. From now on I will definitely be doing more research on owners of the property before I book another rental. That being said the cabin was nice although the craftsmanship of the work inside looked like a rushed job. Also if you plan to cook the pots and pans are very limited. And no coffee maker only a keurig coffee maker.
