Positive: After we got used to the gravel roads off Rt.22, the location turned out to be very convenient. There is a Giant and a gas station nearby, and some local attractions like Lincoln Caves is close. The host was very nice, (although it was a holiday weekend, and nobody answered the phone to reach them several times.) The best part was the 'happy' animals on the property, especially Walter, the male turkey! He even climbed up the hill to our unit to see us off at the end of our stay! The location is not clearly listed on any website, but Hawn's Overlook is very close from this location. The sunset, looking down the Lake from the top of the hill was beautiful, and memorable. This area offers so many outdoor activities, and we hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Negative: Booking.com didn't post accurate information regarding this property. This Ranch is called Urban Saddle Ranch, and Cheyenne is the name of one apt. in a multiple unit building. The accurate address for your GPS to find this place after driving winding uneven gravel roads (you really need at least SUV to drive these roads, if the weather is bad) is 7745 Cottage Circle, Huntingdon PA 16652. Also, the google map on Booking.com points a wrong location of this place (This really needs to be corrected!). It is on the other side of the Lake! It's a very clean, but rustic apartment. Although many things are provided (sheets, a blanket, towels, a small soap), guests should plan and pack items, if they are staying for the camping experience, such as firewood (they will sell you for $10), a lighter, charcoal, cooking utensil for the grill, also shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, etc. Unfortunately, we stayed over Labor Day weekend. So, there were some young families and young group of people, yelling, slamming the doors, stomping the floor in the same building...if you are looking for quiet, seclusion in the woods, book a single unit (if it's available) on a regular day. We can drive up to the unit to load/unload, but we must walk on the hill to keep our car on the designated parking lot. Note that the total for the stay is not the price posted on Booking.com. When you check out, you will find out the real total, including cleaning fee, and some other fee. For our case, the full amount had to be paid up front, and not refundable.

Summary: This is a very special place to stay, and I highly recommend it!

Positive: The owners were so friendly. Monique, one of the owners, came to our site with wood and stayed and chatted with us for awhile😊It was just such a beautiful place. I loved the animals they had especially Walter( turkey) would definitely come back
