Negative: The bathroom tub is very dangerous. There were no grab bars nor was there a slip resistant for the bathtub. The large glass door was not safe either. There are a few easy solutions to make the tub safe and secure for guests

Positive: I loved the location on Chestnut Hill and the fact that this is an historic building. The surrounding area is very walkable with cute little shops, a variety of restaurants, and beautiful churches and old homes off the main street. The staff was very friendly, also.

Negative: It is nice that breakfast is included though I would describe it as just adequate. There are not many options for vegans and the coffee is only from a machine.

Summary: In short, I had a lovely stay at an historic hotel in a lovely area.

Positive: The ambience of the hotel was nice. Rooms were a good size as well. Convenience to restaurants and other nearby places such as pharmacy. The neighborhood was beautiful to the eye with parks nearby and public transportation available if desired. Breakfast included had enough variety for the family and plenty of seating for us.

Negative: The pillows weren't too comfortable. Parking is competitive with people temporarily parking to do food pickups or visit the local market nearby.
