Positive: Beautifully furnished cottage, decorated to a very high standard. Huge fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine) together with utility provided excellent space plus a cloakroom. Dining area was big and the lounge was really cosy but not small. Bathroom was cleverly designed and worked really well while the bedrooms were extremely comfortable - the wardrobes were a work of art! Welcome gift of welsh cakes plus plenty of milk was very much appreciated!

Negative: Personally I prefer a walk in shower rather than bath with shower but having said that the drench head was very effective and something we knew before we booked so our choice.

Summary: Hay on Wye is a brilliant place to stay - fantastic pubs/restaurants/walks/market!

Positive: fabulous, spacious, clean, well equipped cottage with ample parking and garden, 5 minute stroll into town centre. Beautiful riverside walk across the road to the warren for dogs and humans too! comprehensive guest advice book plus Co-op across the road very handy
