Positive: Our first impression of Chena Huts was that it’s very rustic but actually we really enjoyed our stay here. The hut was clean and comfortable and we had two really good nights of sleep. We loved the natural setting and sitting on the porch watching birds. We even got to see a wild elephant! Amila was very helpful with getting us tuk tuks and arranging tours. He even took us to Polonnaruwa himself when the driver fell through and proved to be an excellent guide. A great stay overall!

Positive: It was exactly as pictured! Huts that looked straight out into beautiful landscape and nature and you could see Sigiriya Lions Rock from your bed. It was beautiful and peaceful

Positive: Lovely tree houses with a great view of lion rock. Super helpful staff and enormous breakfasts! Sharing our accommodation with the wildlife was a bonus rather than a negative. We loved it.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay here. It exceeded our expectations. The hut was beautiful and we had a view from our bed (and balcony) of lion rock. It was really quiet from human noises and you really felt in the middle of nature. The host was brilliant and went above and beyond as well as making a delicious breakfast (best omelette I’ve ever eaten). Thank you for a wonderful stay.
