Situated in Draycott Place, a charming period street in Old Chelsea which is steps away from Sloane Square and the King's Road. Walking distance to shops of Knightsbridge and the museums of South Kensington this apartment is owned by an interior designer.
The apartment features one master bedroom with a UK King/USA Queen bed (5' x 6' 8") with an ensuite bathroom with a tub (but no shower). There is a second bathroom with a full walk-in shower (but no tub). A second smaller guest room can be made up with either one or two single beds -- though it is tight with two beds (more suitable for kids to share). And, in a pinch, one can also sleep a fifth person on the living room sofa, the base of which is an upholstered mattress -- think of it as a day bed.
There is a very small patio at the rear which is suitable for die hard smokers, but there is no smoking inside the apartment. As the apartment is 'Lower Ground' there are steep narrow British stairs leading to the front door, so all guests must be agile!
The apartment has three TVs, Blu Ray & DVD multi region system, cable, wireless internet and a cosy dining nook off the living room, with a skylight overhead.
The nearest underground line is Sloane Square, but you are also within walking distance of South Kensington station. I prefer to take the number 19 or 22 bus to the Piccadilly Circus if I am headed to the West End -- ride on the top of the iconic double decker red London bus and get a birds eye view of all London has to offer.

Summary: We had the best week-long stay at this perfect rental. The space felt bigger than was picture and it was perfect for our family of 4(2 adults and a 7 and 9 year old). The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils and cooking equipment we needed; full oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, etc. The host left us some goodies on arrival which was a nice touch and super thoughtful as we were coming in from a redeye flight. The full sized washer and dryer were a game changer for us and allowed us to pack much less and save on checked baggage fees. This is a below ground unit but you wouldn’t know it because of all of the natural light! We had the best stay. Highly recommend!

Summary: The location of this property was great! Safe, quiet, close to Sloan Square station and a lot of shopping and food on Kings Road. The property manager was easy to communicate with. Having a washer and dryer was useful! And many outlet adapters were there for us to use. We would definitely recommend! You have to go down a steep, short staircase to get to the unit just to be aware. Great stay!

Summary: The location is wonderful - we loved using Sloane Square station to access the circle and district lines because it was so much less crowded than the bigger stations. Marks and Spencer was so convenient, as well!The space fit our group of 5 perfectly and we were all comfortable. I didn’t realize it was a basement but that was probably my lack of attention to details, but there was plenty of light. We felt very safe.

Summary: The location is amazing. The apartment is perfect for small groups/families. So many amenities in close proximity and easy access to the tube. Mark was a fantastic host and we would definitely rent this place again.

Summary: Our host Mark went beyond with little touches to his home including fresh flowers, cookies on arrival and a tree to give us some Christmas cheer. The property was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teens) and very close to shops, restaurants, buses and the Tube. Access to the property is down a very steep outdoor staircase so not the best if you have mobility issues. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

The apartment was perfect for us—comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious enough for everyone. The location is fantastic, offering a great representation of London. It’s an extremely walkable area with plenty of shops, restaurants, and charming streets to explore. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the tube, making it super convenient for getting around the city.
