Are you looking for a cozy cabin close to all Kootenay adventures? My place features an open concept kitchen with south facing windows over looking the Kootenay River. The bright kitchen has lots of counter/bar space to prepare delicious meals. There is a soaker tub equipped with Epsom salts and bubbles for a nice soak after your days events. 2 super friendly cats love to meet guests and make them feel at home.
There are amenities close by a restaurant, grocery store, fresh farm produce, gas/liquor outlet, café and cannabis dispensary.
Lots of recreational fun minutes a way; the Rail Trail network, Whitewater Ski Resort, Baldface and Snow Water Cat skiing and Kootenay River trails. Located half way between Nelson and Castlegar also know locally as the "Junction".
If you are looking for a relaxing environment this location is a perfect place to chill or a welcoming space to relax after your days adventure.

Summary: This property has everything you need for a pleasant stay. But, it should be noted that the property has cats, and the cats have access to your living space. If you are fond of cats, then GREAT! If, however you don't expect to share your space with cats, you should be aware. They come and go as they wish. The property is very clean and well cared for. There is a very adorable sitting area outside, so you can enjoy beautiful nature. Lovely location and very accommodating hosts. The location is somewhat remote, and out of the way. There is access to great hiking trails and nature.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this charming, conveniently located, and very comfortable cozy home. We especially loved having the two cats coming and going and occasionally cuddling with us, making us feel even more at home. The kitchen was spacious and lovely to work and eat in; the bedroom comfortable and the bathroom large and perfect. We enjoyed that it was a short drive to Nelson yet tucked away in a garden oasis. Thank you so much - we hope to return soon.

Summary: Cindy is SO helpful and such a clear communicator. The home was so clean. So many utensils and cooking ware in the kitchen which sounds silly but it's literally like cooking at home. We saw a deer on the first night which was awesome. The drive to the house from the airport is super easy and really pretty. Honestly, I'm just so happy that everything is so clean and everything works. It's definitely renewed my hope that there are owners that gives what they advertise and I'm so thankful! Thanks Cindy for the lovely experience! BC is INCREDIBLE!

Summary: We were looking for a spot centrally located to explore Nelson, Kaslo, Castlegsr, and Slocan areas and the location of Cyndy’s little place was perfect for that. But the property did not disappoint. It is well appointed and had everything we could ever need. Perfect for the two of us. The one thing that was a surprise was the complete lack of noise inside the cottage from the often busy highway just a stone’s throw away. The two cats were also an interesting distraction coming to hang out with us in the evenings. Thanks for the stay!

Summary: Cyndy was very quick to respond and very accommodating. The place is located almost in the middle between Nelson and Castlegar. Lots of beaches and hiking trails in the area. We had a great get away!
