Positive: Beautiful chateau, very authentically and tastefully decorated/furnished. Spacious bathroom, nice toiletries and quality towels. Breakfast was full of choices of fresh fruits, pastries, salami, cheese, Nespresso coffee, yogurts, various types of bread. I had a super massage with Marina at the spa, she is very professional and has healing hands! The outdoor area would have been super to enjoy but we didn't have the weather in place!

Negative: The location was slightly disappointing which did not detract from the overall quality of the place. It was set in a relatively small area close to the main road in northwards direction from the port of Blaye.we would have expected the Chateau to be ensconced within larger park-like surroundings, as we would have liked to wander.....

Summary: Beautiful stopover, definitely worth a visit.
