Summary: Wonderful stay in a gorgeous medieval monastery. Lifetime memories. You feel like you traveled back in time, but with all modern conviniences. Beautiful tranquil grounds, friendly owner, nice breakfast. Convinient to visit Chateau de Montresor and historical city of Loches. Amboise and main chateaus of Loire Valley about 40 min to 1 hour away.

Summary: First let me say that this is not a hotel but an old monastery that is a bed and breakfast. Wonderfully restored rooms are very comfortable with the best wifi I had in my trip to France. The breakfast is fresh with local ingredients. The staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Step back in time and enjoy a wonderful experience.

Summary: Idyllic, magical setting. Perfect for a quiet, atmospheric place away from it all. The hotel has a tasteful balance of modern facilities (bathroom) within an ancient building. Nice welcome from the owner and the manager. Good breakfast. Excellent internet connection. Spotlessly clean. We had to change the date of our arrival and the owner and Hotels.com were very accommodating with this. Only 4 km from the beautifully preserved village of Montresor with a couple of places to eat. Unforgettable place. Highly recommend it.
