Positive: Location amazing. The grounds and building steeped in history. The host on hand and clearly enjoyed explaining the history and evolution of the chateau. Breakfast was delightfully locally produced food.

Positive: Beautiful chateau located in a peaceful rural hamlet, superb setting. Bedrooms were fantastic. Our host was wonderful, she was hugely helpful and gave us a wonderful history of the chateau. We will return!

Positive: It was lovely to stay in this unique place. Our host. Was very engaging and informative. Gave us a tour of the Chateau on arrival. Gave us a nice breakfast both mornings and suggested a very good place for dinner

Negative: The facilities were a bit old and worn. No shower. The bed was quite small. The room was low ceilinged and dark, it did add to the experience in an old Chateau but it certainly wasn't grand. It would also be good to know before we got there that we were in a small village with no facilities nearby, we probably would have brought something to eat there. The nearest restaurant being 13 kilometres away (closed) and the next 16 kilometres away.

Positive: Awesome place to stop when touring the WWI front line sights. Wonderful hospitality provided by host who graciously told us the incredible history of this grand old chateau. It’s like stepping back in time, and into the journey of ongoing restoration.
