3 Bedroom Villa in Jalon, Xaló

'Villa Pla' is a villa in the beautiful town of Jalon/Xalo on the Costa Blanca. The villa has a private swimming pool. You can enjoy the peace and beauty of the unspoilt surroundings or take a leisurely walk through the vineyards into the nearby picturesque village which is well known for it's good restaurants and the local wine. A homely atmosphere make the villa a truly wonderful home to stay in, not only in the summer months but the winter too!
The poolside terrace has loungers for relaxing and the BBQ to enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the mountains.
There are 3 bedrooms, the first one having a double bed (and one extra bed if required). The other 2 bedrooms both have twin beds. Sleeps 6/7 people comfortably (there is a cot and a high chair on request). There are 2 bathrooms. The property has TV satellite and free Wifi.
The house is totally suitable and comfortable for longer winter lets. We always work out a specially discounted rate for November to May longer stays. Please contact me for the best rate for your dates.
The Jalon Valley (Vall de Pop) is known as The Valley of Wine. It is surrounded by magnificent mountains that seem to change form every time you look at them. Jalon itself lies in the centre of the valley whilst surrounded by many smaller villages nestled amongst the grape vines, almond and orange trees.
In the winter months the Costa Blanca is lucky enough to have nearly as many sunny days as in the summertime. The Jalon valley is a walker's paradise, with routes ranging from a very gentle stroll to a six hour walk around the Sierra Bernia mountains to the south of Jalon. You may even like to take a trek through the vineyards on horseback, from one of the local stables. In late January the whole of the valley is obscured with almond blossom. One can only describe the view as a magnificent blanket of pink and white.
Life in the Jalon Valley is very slow and tranquil, yet only a twenty to thirty minute drive away is the hustle and bustle of the nightlife and water sports of the coastal resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe.
The village of Jalon revolves around The Old Square where you will find a beautiful fountain around which there is an open market held on Tuesday mornings. Seen from the square is the famous Jalon Church with its blue dome. Roaming around the many small streets, you will find an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants.
Jalon is very famous for its local wines. There are at least three bodegas where you can spend many a leisurely hour sampling the various types. But beware, some are very strong!
The Jalon valley hosts around fifty restaurants to choose from, with International as well as regional cuisine.

Terra Mitica, Spain's largest theme park is at Benidorm and can be accessed via exit 65A on the A7 motorway.

Summary: The property was a good size and the private pool being the main feature. My 3 Children aged 12-6 enjoyed the space and my wife and I enjoyed the quiet location. The villa had all we needed so on occasions we just stayed in and had a meal rather than go into town. We stayed for 2 weeks. Raul was very good with communication and his Dad was a gentleman when coming to the villa to change the bed linen or clean the pool. Overall great experience.

Summary: spacious. comfortable. access to garage so that our bikes were safe when we were out. Villa cool on hot days but sunny sheltered places available all day. Would be top of our list if we return to the area.

Summary: Villa Pla is situated in a tranquil part of Jalon. More villas are in this location, but none of them interferes with the privacy of Villa Pla. An approximate 7 to 8 minute walk brings you to the edge of the village proper, this can be approached from two directions. A pleasant walk through the village brings you to the main square, in the surrounding streets you will find a number of bars restaurants, and local shops including Butchers and Bakers . A bank and Pharmacy are also located in the main square. Villa Pla itself has sufficient amenities to enable visitorsto cater for themselves perfectly adequately. The kitchen has all the equipment, pans, plates, cutlery , fridge freezer with sufficient storage space for a good supply of food and drink! The bedrooms are are equipped with ample storage space for a 14 day stay. The main bedroom has a double bed, the other rooms having singles. The main bathroom has both shower and bath facilities and a double sink vanity unit plus toilet.. The second bathroom, is rather cramped, but contains a toilet also, which can be a useful spare when the occasion arises. The facilities outside include table and chairs on the terrace, a good sized BBQ area, with table and chairs. The pool is ideal for a dip at sundown after a day in the sun or visiting the nearby attractions of Calpe, Altea, Maroira and of course for the BBQ party. A large lockable garage to keep the car in should you choose to stay at the villa for example after shopping at the local supermarket, a visit to the Tuesday market or the rastro on Saturdays, and just want to relax for the rest of the day. The owner and his father do all they can to make your stay enjoyable, and provide a change of bed linen and towels and should require a babies high chair one will be provided.

Summary: We spent a several times our holidays in this lovely villa. The villa was clean and comfortable as well as the pool every time. The villa is central located for visit the nearby beaches and Xalo, with his restaurants and bars. The owners, Raul and his father are very kind and helpful. At this villa we will definitely be returning The relation price/quality is excellent and I highly recommend it.

Summary: The villa was clean, comfortable and well placed to visit the local town and surrounding area. The villa is not overlooked and has fantastic views in all directions. The owners are friendly and very welcoming. The pool was cleaned and ready for use. We have stayed before at this villa and will definitely be returning. Locally are a range of restaurants and bars. We used many of them including Casa Caty which serves an excellent cous cous, Pepes and Bar Porsche in Alcalali are also of good quality and excellent value. Locally produced wines are superb.

Summary: I stayed here for three months last winter. The owner and his father were very kind and helpful throughout my stay and helped to make it a lovely experience. The house is located down a quiet lane among the vineyards of the Vall de Pop and a short walk or drive to all facilities in Xalo which has a good choice of eating places. At this time of year the days were mainly sunny but on the cooler side and the villa was an ideal base for walking and for cycling, while it takes no time at all to get to the coast.

Summary: We spent a week holiday in September in this lovely villa. The relation price/quality is excellent and I highly recommend it. We also enjoyed the nearby beaches, the good local wine and the interesting Flea Market on Saturdays in Jalon. Definitively we will be back!
