Villa Stanisi is a beautifully restored holiday home with private pool, several terraces and a spacious, well-kept garden. The property is surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of vines, green meadows and fields.
With its 200 m² on three floors, it can accommodate 5 to a maximum of 8 people with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Ideal for families.
The 200-year-old farmhouse with its thick natural stone walls has been restored with great attention to detail in the Istrian country house style. Special emphasis was placed on the use of local materials.
On the ground floor is the modern equipped, spacious kitchen (espresso machine, dishwasher and washing machine) with a cozy dining table for up to 8 people and direct access to the garden via a covered terrace. Furthermore, there is a bathroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor and a spacious bedroom (fireplace room with sofa bed) with private entrance. On the 1st floor is a very large living room with a cozy corner sofa, a large TV / SAT with Blu-ray / DVD player and a Playstation. From the living room there is access to the covered terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding meadows and fields and access to the garden via the outer stone staircase. On the first floor are also 2 bedrooms, a large with 2 single beds together and a smaller one with a single bed and extendable second bed. A staircase leads to the 2nd. Floor. There, under the roof, there is another bedroom with double bed, and a separate spacious bathroom with bath and toilet. From 2. Floor you can enjoy the view over the surrounding villages and landscapes to the sea.

The well-maintained spacious garden with its native plants offers plenty of space to relax. There is a covered and a free terrace in front of the kitchen and a large terrace in front of the pool, which is equipped with 8 loungers. The tiled pool measures 24 m², it has a very comfortable entry through a staircase. Those looking for a shady spot can retire under the kiwi-entwined pergola. Next to it is a large brick barbecue that invites to barbecue evenings. The terraces are laid with natural stone tiles, an old natural stone wall overgrown with ivy separates the garden from the village street. The property is completely fenced.

Summary: Charming house in the rural area, very well equipped with everything you need. Lovely kitchen. Great terrace. Very comfortable outside dining area with the grill and tailor-made pool nearby. Summary: Self contained house in great location with nice private pool. Lots of great options to sit out and eat it relax round the house and grounds. Everything you might need for a relaxing holiday is provided and house is finished to very high standard. Communication with owner was excellent and in real time via private WhatsApp group. Couple of notes worth mentioning and not that apparent in the profile is that house is adjoining another and that electricity usage is charged afterwards based on usage during your stay. Recommended.

Summary: Villa Stanisi is a handsome old stone house at the edge of a tiny village surrounded by vineyards. The owners, Robert and Inken have furnished it thoughtfully and tastefully and could not have been more helpful in making sure that we were comfortable. The house is wonderfully well equipped throughout, which makes it a real home from home. It’s within easy reach of the hill towns, and Pula, Rovinj and Porec for days out. Equally, it’s a lovely place for relaxing by the pool; the house gets the sun all day, and the terrace and pergola (laden with kiwi fruit) provide shade when the heat gets a bit much. Thank you Robert and Inken for a wonderful stay!

Summary: We (5 adults) spent one week in this lovely and very calm hideaway and enjoyed every minute. Several possibilities to eat in the garden, and when it got chilly in the evening we moved upstairs to the protected terrace and still watched the starry sky. The rooms/bathrooms were clean, the kitchen well-equipped. Everything was arranged with much attention to detail (high-quality furniture, soft bed linen ...). The refreshing pool is the cherry on top. We also went for several morning walks to explore the surroundings. Vineyards nearby. Restaurants 5min by car, seaside about 20min. Will definitely come back!

Summary: We are a family of 6 from London, England. We stayed at the property in early August 2018. We found Robert and Inken to be very helpful and assisted us with all our queries. Their website is very detailed and provides numerous tips and hints on the house and locality. The location was tranquil and offered an ideal base to visit numerous towns and villages in Istria. The property was well equipped with all mod cons and offered a sizeable and comfortable living space inside and outside. The night sky was pretty spectacular.
