Summary: I stayed at the property with a group of friends and it was a lovely break from the busy medina's of the cities. We found it a bit difficult to understand the accommodations via the website, but the 5 of us were housed in two separate 2BR villas, and a third private apartment. All are very charming, and we were served all of our meals together on a lovely outdoor patio with a view of the pool. The pool and the grounds are beautiful and casual, and we enjoyed meeting the local horses, dogs, and even the noisy peacock who joined us for dinner one night. Laurence is incredibly helpful and arranged a guide and taxi for us to do a stunning hike through a nearby valley of the Atlas Mountains, followed by lunch in a berber home. The next morning we walked through neighboring villages, and the locals are extremely welcoming and friendly. The area does not seem to be heavily touristed and we enjoyed the authentic culture. The staff is fantastic and the meals on the veranda were nice. It's several kilometers out of Amizmiz, so decided it was best to stay on the property for dinner. Thanks Laurence for a great stay and your warm hospitality!

Summary: 16 of us stayed for my 30th birthday and had the absolute best time. Laurence and her husband could not have been more welcoming or helpful. They provided all of our meals, bought wine for us and made us feel special, all the while leaving us very much to our own devises. We were very much in celebratory mood and were quite loud but they never interrupted our fun and simply were there when we needed them. Laurence booked us taxis into town, organised a trek in the Atlas Mountains with lunch (which I cannot recommend enough) and I only wish to come back some day. Thank you for making my birthday the best EVER. Emilee xxxx

Summary: Laurence, Fatima and Jawad looked after us really well. Our girls loved it especially the pool and all the cats, kittens (some were even born in their room, our fault for leaving the door open!) and dogs. We hadn't realised we'd be sharing the pool that perhaps could have been made clearer. Also we were staying in a different house from the one in the photos but we're very comfortable all the same and loved having our delicious suppers on our roof with the stunning views of the mountains and fields all around. Treks with Latifa were a definite highlight. Highly recommend coming to this blissfully unspoilt area with the friendliest people!

Summary: My husband, myself and my three year old daughter stayed here for four nights. We were given a grand welcome and felt very much like being welcomed home by family. Laurence made every effort to ensure that we were comfortable and was very accommodating. We did not rent a car and so Laurence arranged for a taxi to take us on a tour for one day where we did a camel ride and toured a lake near by. On another day Laurence herself dropped us off and picked us up at Amizmiz to get a taxi into Marrakech - way above and beyond. We did a day tour to the berber village(s) with Hicham which was amazing. The staff at the Dar was incredible and very child friendly. The food was excellent, delivered to our villa and we thought priced very well. The community surrounding the Dar was also incredibly to drink in, my daughter made fast friends with the family next door. The views surrounding this place were breathtaking. While we were there the poppies were in bloom mixed with green wheat against brilliant blue sky and snow capped mountains We highly recommend this rental and would love to return one day.
