Summary: The property was a former stable, renovated with great taste and charm in the timber framed style of the area. The owner greeted us with flowers and a bottle of Normandy cider to welcome us to her house. Our dog was also made most welcome, as she has a spaniel of her own. The terrace and garden were beautiful in which to spend some hours and we were very fortunate to enjoy warm and sunny days. This is a lovely cottage and I would recommend any family to stay there.

Summary: Location The place is ideal for a Normandy vacation. It is located near beautifull Honfleur, with easy access to the highway. The location is right at the center of the key Normandie attractions: we made day trips to Mont Saint Michelle, the D-Day beaches, Etretat, Rouen and Giverny, and getting on and off the highway was quick and simple. If you want to take a day without driving, Honfleur's attractions are just a few minutes away. On the other hand, unlike other locations inside town -- the place is spacious and tranquille. The House The house is beatifull, well equiped and lovingly maintained. The two bedrooms in the upper floor were perfect for a family of 5, and the ground floor was inviting and cosy. We used the kitchen and washing machine a number of times, and it is well equiped. Every morning we drove to the boulangerie at the village center, and enjouyed the fresh products. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous garden that much since it rained almost every night. Estelle Estelle was key to our succesfull vacation. She went out of her way to help us, by providing us with a mattress to fit our 4 year old daughter, by bringing us towels, by providing guidance and assistance, and letting us feel welcome. She is so charming, that since she was the first person we met in Normandy -- we immediately felt that all Normandians must be like her! What a great way to start a vacation. Thank you Estelle! If there is one thing that Estelle can do to make the place even better -- it is to add WIFI. We used a wireless cellular link (orange) at the house, but would have prefered to have also WIFI access.
