Summary: Beautiful location and scenic views. The doorknob on the bathroom downstairs kept falling off. The dishwasher needs a really good clean, we had to hand wash all of our dishes.

Summary: The view from the kitchen is beautiful with the sun rising and the moon shining. We drove to Santa Fe Ski area and town every day and it was a Very enjoyable drive. We felt as if we were in a retreat and could still be out and about with minimal effort. Beautiful home and stay, thank you

Summary: The photos of the exterior were not accurate. There were weeds everywhere! Most of the exterior lights either didn't work or had burned out bulbs. Several of the screens had tears and as the home doesn't have air there is a need to be able to open the windows. If you do there are moths everywhere. Don't leave any snacks out unless you want to find them half eaten and mouse droppings on the counter. The stair treads are different heights and some are very steep! The entrance to both tub/showers are very steep and my wife suffered an injury exiting the tub as there are no grab bars or non slip mats. The house was very unnerving at night due to the strange sounds and lack of window covers. As the photos were nice and many of the reviews were positive we decided to give this home the benefit of the doubt. It's very disappointing that the issues that we had have been mentioned numerous times over the last few years and NEVER corrected. One last note. Despite the owners insistance that the internet works well it was rarely available and when it did work it would be a few minutes. There were very personal items left in several locations as well. This home could be spectacular but unfortunately was not.

Summary: The surface areas were clean, but the property needed a serious deep clean. The kitchen cabinet doors were disgustingly dirty as well as vents throughout the house. The American Clay plaster on the walls is falling off everywhere, which is a shame as it's a beautiful finish. One of the bathtubs leaked onto the clay disintegrating it. Simple re-caulking would have saved this wall. It was almost impossible for 4 of us to try to conduct a business retreat as the internet is spotty. When mentioned to the owner, he was defensive "My internet is not spotty at all. We stream movies. Trade Stocks and more. My wife is a digital marketing strategist. It’s quite good usually for a mountain top". If you rely on being connected for work, this isn't the right spot for you. There are only 2 showers available on the upper level of the house. You have to climb over a very large tub to get to them. If you can't swing your leg at least 30 inches off the ground and climb in....this is definitely not the property for you. One of my guests was taking a shower and as she closed the door the shower door came off the hinges. She had to call for help as it was extremely heavy and she is a slight woman. The owner was to send someone to fix the door the following day......3 days later when we left he still had not arrived and we were all sharing one shower.
