Positive: The location is good. Less than 15 minute drive to the beach and about 2 miles to several local restaurants. The water pressure was also really good on the property which is great after a day at the beach. The property does have a large backyard and it sits on a quiet street. Excellent picture quality on the living room TV.

Negative: Hot tub was broken and after reading other reviews it looks like it has been out of order for close to a year. This should be removed from the listing if the owner isn't going to get it repaired or replaced. The bathroom has black mold on the ceiling and in the grout of the shower. The shower curtain should have been replaced years ago. The DirectTV wasn't working. After some trial and error I was able to finally get the TV to stream from a free streaming movie service. There is also only seating for 3-4 comfortably in the living room. This wasn't really an issue for me but maybe for larger groups. The firepit key was nowhere to be found. This made it impossible to turn up the gas and I had to fight the wind to keep the fire pit lit. There is still metal pieces from the roof replacement at the end of the driveway. Based on other reviews this appears to have been over a year ago and it still has not been taken care of. The backyard furniture has definitely seen better days and should be replaced for safety reasons. I wouldn't sit at the table. The bench also needs to have the wood replaced as it is all showing it's age and warped. Overall this was a cute house in a quiet neighborhood. I would go back again if the owner makes the necessary updates. I'm not overly critical when it comes to houses because I know they don't have on-site housekeeping and maintenance like most hotels. This place is in need of a general contractor to fix a few things (especially the mold in the bathroom) and a good once over of the grounds to clean it up. Most of the blinds also need to be replaced as they are missing portions of the slats throughout the house. Makes me uncomfortable changing in a bedroom where someone could see in from the street. I would not stay here with little kids. There is a great looking play set in the backyard but after seeing the rest of the property I wouldn't trust it.

Negative: Jacuzzi was not available due to maintenance issues, Little issuers and there, buteas able to work them out with our host she was very friendly and considerate.

Summary: Enjoyed are stay for the most part.

Positive: Nice and clean. Very nice back yard and hot tub! For the house size they put in a lot of work to make the modern and trendy.

Negative: Small but great value. Only one bathroom.

Negative: If you come with a big family, small living and dinner room. Backyard was dirt, not taking care, broken table, hot tub NOT Working, grill was dirt and rusted, I would not grill anything there. I was going to have a friend to go on hot tub and use the grill and was unable. I got to know the hot tub was not working the day I got there. The owner advertise and put pictures of backyard that is not true. It was not welcoming. The cover of fire pit was dirty. The blinds of two bedrooms need to be fixed. The kitchen door has a glass on it and should have a blind on it. It is not safe. It needs better light outside of the house once the street is dark. Not safe! The owner as a courtesy should have given me a partially refund. I will not intend to stay in this house again!
