Historic1860's cottage, restored and refurbished with a mixture of the past and the present. Located in Historic South Street, a vibrant community bound by the shared love of days gone by. Relax and immerse yourself in our history. www.historicsouthstreet.co.nz.
Verandah on street front, private sunny courtyard, full kitchen, open plan dining/lounge. Close to restaurants, markets, museum and galleries.
The base rate is for 2 people. Extra adults are charged at $50 per night and children at $25 per night. Please note that Bookabach don’t currently have the ability to automatically differentiate adult vs children pricing as hosts would prefer, but we can update this once the booking is in place. They are working on making discount available for children.

Summary: Dillon Cottage is one of the historic cottages in South St, Nelson. It has been meticulously maintained and updated with everything needed for a short stay. We loved the location - walking distance to town, and the parking permit was a bonus. The house was spotlessly clean and our bed was perfectly comfortable.

Summary: The Dillon House was a cottage that I instantly feel in love with, the little picket fence welcoming as I opened the gate. I stepped inside and it felt as if I had stepped back in a time when everything was quiet and filled with wild flowers. The house had been renovated but the historical features were enhanced and every modern convenience supplied. In the kitchen a range-hood sat elegantly, opposite the electric oven, guess what was the more magnificent. The lounge, dining room was spacious and so enviting. We couldnt find a TV at first which was no problem, however, that lovely picture in fact turned into the TV, clever. The first thing my husband greeted me saying in the morning was "Lovely bed,ow so comfy"! so that was a five star to start. Our little dog Kobo loved her holiday at the cottage, spending time smelling the flowers and looking out the picket fence. Thank you for providing this special place, 10 out of 10 would not be enough.

Summary: If you enjoy historic homes then you need to stay here. The house was very comfortable and well appointed, the residents went out of their way to be helpful and there are three very nice kitties on the street who made our stay complete.

Summary: We couldn't have asked for a more lovely place to stay. The cottage was charming, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. Jeanette was super friendly and helpful and we enjoyed meeting her on our way out. I highly recommend this VRBO and Nelson as a wonderful place to visit. The location of this cottage is just a few blocks from the city centre. Rent it!!!
