Summary: We really enjoyed staying at this house and wished we could’ve stayed longer( stayed 8 nights) we were very warmly welcomed the second we stepped through the door . One of our favorite parts was the hiking trails which covered the forest and it was easy to make day trips to Strasbourg,Colmar and even Baden Baden, all the towns had Christmas markets. We hope to return sometime in the future and it is very pleasant to stay during the christmas holidays.

Summary: It's a long way from San Diego -- just what we hoped for. Beautiful house in green hills, a great base for hiking (especially up Hohnack) and exploring the lovely towns around Colmar. A couple hours with the host gave us insights into Alsace.

Summary: We have spend a very nice week here with family - 2 adults and kid. The owners welcomed us warmly as old good friends. We have found everything we could need in our stay in the apartments - all kind of dishes and glasses, oil, spices, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, towels. The house was decorated for Christmas with taste and love. With fireplace, candles, nice paintings on the wall the house were looking more cozily than on the web-site. The house located in a very quiet village in the mountings. You have to drive 20 minutes down on a very beautiful road to department store and restaurants. The location is quite good to travel around Alsace and more. 25 min to Colmar, Eguisheim, Riquewir, 1 hour to Mulhouse, Strasbourg, Freiburg, Rust (Europa park) and many other places - much more than you are able to visit in one week. We left this place with wish to return here again in the future. Olga, Denis and Kirill
