Summary: 2 weeks with my husband and son. The gîte is compact but with a wonderful outside space which is completely private. Great location for Fécamp itself. Walking distance of town centre, port and beach. Easy driving to lots of interesting places in the area. Sylvie was always contactable and friendly.

Summary: We stayed a 2nd time here and we love almost everything, excellent coffee in the cosy & sunny garden & superb view out of the bedroom! Only 450 steps to get the best Baguette traditionel & french baked goods. Thank you for this gite and please keep it as it is today!

Summary: Booked the property on the ground floor with the sauna, but Sylvie had some issue with her calendar. Fortunately, she had a lovely flat above the first one that suited us just as well. There was no sauna, but it had everything that we needed, was close to everything, and was very charming and well furnished. The attention to detail was excellent. It was impeccably clean, had most of what we needed, minus laundry detergent, soap, and shampoo for the shower. These things were easy to obtain at the Carrefour two blocks away. Great place, I highly recommend.

Summary: The property was a revelation as you walk in off the street into a wonderful light space. Really well appointed with everything you need. Sylvie was a great host - really easy to communicate with and her availability was great. Very comfortable beds, chairs and a lovely garden. Good location very close to really nice restaurants recommended by Sylvie, do book in advance.

Summary: Sylvie and Patrice have created a beautiful house in a very central location in Fecamp, with the added benefit of a lovely garden. We found everything clean and tidy on arrival, and very tastefully decorated and furnished. We frequently rent houses for our holidays, and would rate this one quite highly. However, we did find that although there were all the usual appliances in the kitchen, there was a lack of basic tools for anyone who, like us, want to cook for themselves. It would benefit from a better assortment of kitchen knives (there were no sharp ones for preparing meat or vegetables, so it was good that we'd taken our own), and simple things like kitchen scissors were absent too. When it came to washing up, there was no drying cloth provided, so we ended up buying one, as for the two of us, using the dishwasher all the time (and especially for glasses) is not necessary. It was also a little disappointing that there was no "welcome pack" of some basic provisions - that is unusual in our experience, and even just some water or juice or a bottle of wine would greatly add to the initial impressions. Having said all that, we had a good time there. The bed was comfortable, and the walk-in shower was great! We didn't use the sauna, but I'm sure that would appeal to some. A final note - there is a cat around the place, soft and fluffy, so anyone with a cat allergy take note! She doesn't come in the house, but is around the garden a lot.
