On the ground floor kitchen living area with a four burner hob, extractor hood, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle and all necessary equipment to enjoy a pleasant stay and a seating area with sofa, coffee table, flat screen, internet access via Wi-fi, hi-fi system.

Summary: The little house is beautiful - very ambient, spotlessly clean and decorated and furnished very tastefully with some nice prints and simple country antique furniture. There was a large vase of roses to welcome us.It is set in very pretty grounds with a nice table and chairs to eat outside. Serge is extremely helpful but discrete and he was lovely with our young Cocker Spaniel. Very highly recommended.

Summary: Serge’s rural cottage is most comfortable. It was perfect for our needs & Serge was nearby to help us with some minor issues. We highly recommend Cottage Vilma.

Summary: We had an enjoyable week and a half in Serge’s Gite. It is cosy and extremely comfortable, with a covered (shaded) car parking space. Located in the countryside, close to the canal-ways, it is perfect for a relaxing holiday and as a base for days out exploring. A huge plus is the gite has air-conditioning - we’ve had extremely hot weather and I think we would have melted without it! Serge was very kind, offering advice and also giving us salad from his vegetable garden. The nearby historic village of Auvillar is a must-see with a small Sunday food market, a few nice restaurants, bakery etc - and also Lauzerte, a nearby hilltop town. Venturing further afield, we explored the beautiful south Dordogne - Montflanquin, Pujols, Monpazier, Eymet - and then went further down into Tarn - Albi (amazing Cathedral) and Cordes-sur-Ciel (medieval hilltop town).

Summary: This is the first time we have been to this area, and we were looking for something small for two people, in the countryside but accessible to the surrounding area. This is a fantastic property and cannot recommend it enough. It is clean with enough space for a couple or a small family for a week. Location is great, in the middle of the country side - outdoor area around the property is beautiful and really nice to sit out in the evening - lots of space for children to play in safety. Serge was lovely when we met him and bought a nice salad basket, along with wine and water in the fridge. He also responds quickly to messages. One point, whilst there is a lot of household items for cooking and eating, whilst we were there a lot of the basics for food preparation were not in the gite - however, not a problem when you are doing an initial shop. Take some insect cream - this part of the country seemed to be alive with them, and we got bitten everywhere!! Definitely need a car when staying here as it is miles from anywhere, which is a good thing. The walks along the canal are nice in the evening, and you can go exploring for miles in the countryside.

Summary: I almost do not want to write this review as I really want to keep this wonderful gite a secret! However Serge deserves to be fully booked every year so justice dictates I should tell others what a perfect stay we had. A wonderful house in a beautiful location. Serge is a lovely balance of helpful and generous without being intrusive. In other words Serge is the perfect host and the cottage is everything we could have wished for. Just go! We will be going back too.

Summary: Character property of great charm. Very well equipped and decorated. Set in an attractive large garden -total peace and tranquillity. Serge was a most helpful host who made every effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay at Pommevic.

Summary: We enjoyed two weeks in this beautiful little house.Everything you could wish for. Really didn't want to come back.Serge was brilliant with a great attention to detail from a lovely welcome pack to the lovely fresh flowers.Nothing was a problem.

Summary: Serge the owner was lovely and made us very welcome he was very hospitable during our stay and keen to make sure we were happy. The detached cottage is in a very quiet location with lovely views over open fields and a pretty garden with tables, chairs and sun loungers.Weather for our stay was 24-31C and we had all meals outside. It stays light and warm until almost 10pm. The cottage is beautifully decorated with a mix of old charm and contemporary. It was spotlessly clean and had good quality linen and towels. Plenty of kitchen equipment for self catering. The bedroom is whole of top floor and has a window at each end so a through breeze can be had. Toulouse Airport is an easy drive and takes just about an hour. There is an Intermarche at Valence about 10-15mins drive away which has great selection of a usual large supermarket and fabulous fish counter. There is also a petrol station at the supermarket. A great location to explore Tarn et Garonne and travelling a little further north the Dordogne. There are local Medieval villages to visit and we cycled along the Canal (1mile away) to visit local villages and towns. (Using bikes that Serge provided).Auvillar is only a few miles away, the last mile is uphill but the views from the top are brilliant. Moissac is an easy cycle ride as its straight along the canal path- nice and flat and there are several restaurants where 2 course lunch 'plat de jour' available around 11euros. If you like Medieval villages and don't mind a drive of say 60km then Cordes-sur-Ciel is a must. Also local Châteaus to visit. We definitely recommend this lovely cottage for a relaxing quiet break.

Summary: We would highly recommend his property for it's charm, peaceful setting and proximity to the canal. The accommodation was very comfortable, spacious, well maintained and well equipped. Serge, the owner went out of his way to be helpful, offering useful advice and ideas about places to visit. We made use of his free bike hire and cycled along the canal to Moissac and Auvillar, both delightful. We would highly recommend this property and hope to be back someday soon. Many thanks to Serge for making it a great week.
