Well fall is here and if you're a small family looking for a trip, the Lakehouse in Eidelweiss is for you. Past guest - don't forget us. New to the area, we think this will be a perfect spot for you. It's a quiet and updated cozy home surrounded by pines with a private beach that's also close to all the White Mountains and North Conway have to offer. A place where fresh air, sunlight, your private beach, and lake and mountain activities call to you and, mixed with area shopping and local attractions, there’s no better combination. Look no further! The Lakehouse in Eidelweiss Village on Little Pea Porridge Pond is for you! The canoe and the kayaks are yours so you can take a trip down the lake to the next lake. Oh when that moon rises right over the property, it's almost like you're in a bit of heaven. Grab the book to see which planet that is!
Inside get a great night's sleep in either of the two bedrooms (kids love the bunkroom) and wake up to a day filled with hiking, shopping, or just taking it easy.
Summertime lets the canoe take you downstream from Little Pea to Middle Pea. Fire up the grill for a tasty dinner and grab some warmth by the firepit in the evening. Step into the screened porch for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate or head inside to the propane fireplace where some atmosphere will hit the spot. Cable and high-speed internet are available to complete your experience. Scrabble anyone?
If hiking, trips down the Kancamagus, and other attractions such as Storyland are more your style, you'll find them all not far away. Summary: This was our second time staying in Edelweiss Village and third year visiting the North Conway area in the summer. Judi’s property was absolutely perfect for our family - I couldn’t think of a single thing that I’d change or add. My kids loved the private beach and dock and although we mostly used my paddleboard, we did take the pedal boat out once and the kids enjoyed trying to pedal us around the pond. We often saw a pair of loons, many ducks, and the occasional turtle. The kids enjoyed exploring the house and finding things like a wooden tic tac toe set, left right center game, a cute nightlight and more. I appreciated that we had access to a variety of things and didn’t need to run out to the store for every little thing. When my daughter got bug bites, we were able to find calamine lotion in the bathroom. The AC unit in the living room was enough to keep the whole house cool even when it was in the 90s. We enjoyed being able to choose to eat and hang out inside, on the screened porch, on the covered deck, or down on the beach. Although we didn’t use them, there’s a nice association beach and playground just on the other side of the trees from Judi’s.We’d stay here again without hesitation.

Summary: Judi was so nice left treats for the kids and the adults. The property was perfect for the kids. We had a tough time getting the kids out of the water! The pond was great nice and quite great for paddle boarding and swimming. Great location close to everything we needed. This was our third summer at the property and Judi does a great job. The house is small in size but was enough for our family of 4. It was fun the house has a rustic vibe and the kids just loved the beach and all the floats for the pond that Judi had there and the toys.

Summary: This was our fourth time staying here and we are already looking forward to coming back next year! Nice sandy beach for the kids, love the canoe and kayaks! Close to North Conway for day trips, and Judy is great! She checks in to make sure everything is ok, and quick to respond to questions. Definitely recommend this property!

Summary: My husband and I were looking for a cozy get away by a lake to enjoy the fall colors. We found the perfect place. The cabin was inviting and cozy. Judi was a great host and communicated very well. We'd definitely recommend this place.

Summary: Spent a wonderful week in this adorable lakeside cottage! The home is so cute, cozy and very well-appointed. You can tell owner Judi spends time there and loves it. Traveled with our two small boys (6 and 2) and they loved every minute: tons of beach toys, kayaks and floaties on the family-friendly pond. Loved that theres no motorized boats on pond, so it's quiet and safe. Lots of fish, frogs and turtles for kids to find! Location is close to hikes and town of Conway for shopping, food and activities. Judi is responsive and kind and helpful. Would stay here again in a minute. Highly recommend!!
