The Stonum Vineyards Cottage is simply the perfect wine country getaway. Nestled among Redwoods and a tranquil pond, the Cottage is set on 15 acres of the family’s estate Zinfandel. Plan a private wine tasting experience with us, hit the Lodi Wine Trail, then return to home base with the entire winery estate to yourself!
Stonum Vineyards is a family owned & operated winery. The Cottage, which dates back to 1900 is fondly referred to by the Stonum Family as “the ranch house”. The light and airy 2-bedroom is fully furnished featuring a California king-sized bed in the master. No need to set an alarm, all the birds will be singing in the pond just outside the cottage. There are 2 very friendly winery cats that live on the property. They are outdoor cats, but will be hanging around and saying hello. Coming soon is the Stonum Farm Garden, a one acre organic farm!
Stonum Vineyards is one of three wineries on Alpine Road, and 5 to 15 minutes away from all wineries. Just 10 mins from Downtown Lodi to explore restaurants, shops, tasting rooms, and breweries.

Summary: This place was breathtaking. I must say this was a precious gem. We had an amazing time in The Stonum cottage. The property was absolutely beautiful on a winery estate where we got to enjoy wine tasting. The amazing gardens were great to look at and the family cats (Dewey & Wolfie) were very friendly. The cottage was so nice and clean with a nice view of the morning sunrise and vineyards everywhere. The view and comfort of this little home was to die for. Fran was a beautiful and very nice hostess. Her aunt was a great hostess at the wine tasting and very knowledgeable about their winery and others in the area. Fran was quick to respond to all of our questions and helpful along the way. We can’t thank you enough for everything. This place gets all 5 stars from us!!!!

Summary: We loved our stay in the cottage! Very clean and well-appointed inside and lovely gardens, pond, and sitting areas outside. The winery cats were a lovely bonus! They came to visit us as we drank our coffee outside in the morning. The cottage is pretty close to the winery tasting room, so sometimes we had people sitting right outside the house during tasting hours or Friday evening event (a note to anyone who wants a lot of privacy). But, our stay also came with a complimentary wine tasting and discount on bottles purchased -- a nice touch! We would definitely recommend this unique spot!

Summary: Very comfortable little place. Very clean and has a great location on a vineyard with a pond next to it. Occasional nearby road noise but didn’t notice too much traffic after dark. Nice decor and great host.

Summary: We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the property so much! We got ready for my wedding and the space and atmosphere were perfect. We would absolutely stay again and will be recommending to everyone we know who needs a place to stay

Summary: This property is beautiful. We booked it simply to be closer to our early morning flight, but would book again as a destination. And as an added bonus, the Stonum wine is fantastic!
