Summary: We had a great time at our Friendcation at the Ranch this year! The hospitality was second to none, with constant communication and assistance when issues arrived (broken dryer, meant daily laundry service until they could replace it). It’s a ranch so critters are too be expected but it was handled with professionalism and timeliness. So much space for our group to spread out, pool was wonderful, and hot tub too! We plan on coming back year after year as our tradition home!

Summary: The home was exactly as described in the listing, and being there in person was simply marvelous. There are so many places where we could visit as a small group or get away by ourselves to read or to play with all 16 of us. There were plenty of places where we could eat as a group of 16 or have appetizers before dinner in a different location. It felt like we were at a resort. The view from the swimming pool reminded us of both Spain and Italy. The kitchen was fabulous and allowed us all to participate in cooking together. We planned a patio boat rental for one day of the week that included a spiral slide down from the second floor, a bathroom, and a grill. It was a perfect get away. Midweek.

Summary: What a gem! RedSmith Ranch is a large estate in a quiet, farming town that has ample space to relax, both inside and out - plenty of gathering spaces on the main level, enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our large group, and beautiful grounds surrounding the house. Activities outside included a basketball hoop, table tennis, an archery set, and bocce ball, so there was plenty to do for the adults and kids. We had the whole property to ourselves, so it felt like we owned our own family vineyard for the weekend! And the property was extremely well stocked with all of the supplies we needed for the rental. Host Del could not be any more kind and accommodating to our group - he was very responsive leading up to the rental period and stopped by in person on our first day to check if we had any questions about the house. Most restaurants and stores were at least 20 minutes away from the house, so this property is a better fit for "getting away" instead of being "close to the action" (which worked just fine for our group!). The only two downsides we experienced - there was a large amount of mosquitos throughout the property (primarily in the front yard and backyard) so we took home a lot of bug bites, and the standalone hot tub was not usable (it had some baby frogs taking a swim themselves!) - but despite that, we still had the time of our lives at RedSmith Ranch! Summary: The house was beautiful and surrounding area was breathtaking. There was a lot of equipment to keep us busy. Archery, croquet, cornhole. We did our own meals and the kitchen was well stocked with a fabulous Stove. It was a wonderful experiece for my family.

Summary: We stayed for the weekend and had the most wonderful time.. The house was amazing. Everything was perfectly clean. We loved the outdoors and we danced inside and outside. There were so many things to do. And we also enjoyed some time at Bokisch winery across the street. It was perfect!

Summary: The property was huge and gorgeous. The pool was ice cold even when it was sunny in late September, but we did hot tub and then cold plunge. We loved the veggies (tons of tomatoes and herbs) and fruit trees (when we were there only calamansi was ripe). I particularly enjoyed the archery setup--never done it before and it was very satisfying. Indoor area was thoughtful and well appointed. One of the guests went for a run and saw some goats and a pony--the sunsets were also gorgeous. Great hosting location! The host must have been busy when we arrived. He said he would invite us in and show us a tour, but came 3-4 hours after we'd arrived and focused on getting a delivery of paper towels instead of greeting us. The tour was a verbal rundown of things while we were in the driveway rather than any walkthrough of the house. There was also a lot of confusion and apparently anxiety on the host's side about a separate contract he'd sent, indicated we didn't need to sign, and then freaked out that we hadn't yet signed. I assume it was just an off day for him, as he was otherwise very responsive over text.

Summary: We had our intimate wedding at RedSmith Ranch, with our families staying on the property. It was the most incredible weekend of our lives. The house and property continued to amaze us and our guests. All of the rooms were comfortable and beautiful, the property was breathtaking, and the house’s ability to host such a beautiful event was unmatched. Not to mention how wonderful Del was to work with throughout the whole process! You can tell how much pride and love they put into the house— it shows in every thoughtful detail. We will definitely be back!
