Summary: This is my 5th or 6th time staying in the cottage. Could not be more perfect for an individual or couple. Everything you need... especially the quiet!!! WIFI works great, all the kitchen supplies you need, a short drive to Sewanee, Monteagle, and great midway spot for day trips to Nashville or Chattanooga.

Summary: What a special place!! I stayed with just myself and my dog and it was exactly what we wanted. I needed to be near Sewanee for a writing program and this charming cottage nestled in a wooded area on a quiet road was conveniently located. The cottage itself is immaculate: very well maintained, perfectly set up & equipped with everything you’ll need. There’s a fenced in backyard and a spacious covered porch. The owner, who lives nearby, is responsive, helpful and kind. It was just perfect.

Summary: This place is special! It has everything you want for an individual retreat or a small family vacation! Location is perfect for Sewanee, Monteagle, half way between Nashville and Chattanooga. The cottage will continue to be the only place I’ll stay when visiting the area! Fantastic, responsive owners!

Summary: Lovely little cottage situated near a bluff on the Cumberland Plateau about 4 miles from the town of Sewanee. Quiet and peaceful wooded location. Nice break from the heat and humidity of the Gulf Coast. Would definitely visit again.
