2 bedroom character stone cottage, 1 bathroom with separate bath and shower. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob and microwave. Washing machine, iron and ironing board all supplied. Wifi available.
All linen ie: bed linen, towels etc are all included.

The cottage is ideally situated to explore the surrounding countryside including 'la route de Richard Cœur de Lion' , within easy distance of sime of the most beautiful villages in France and of course the lakes one of which is either 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes away by car and is free to use, there is a beach and in summer inflatables for the children, pedalos etc and a bar/ice cream cabin and a restaurant.
Great for forest walks and a great choice of fishing nearby.

Summary: Gorgeous surroundings, very cute and comfortable gite. We slept well and loved sitting in the garden. Jane and Rob couldn't have been more hospitable and helpful. We were very sorry to leave.

Summary: The cottage is so lovely, comfortable and very well appointed. The location is quiet, peaceful and very beautiful. Jane and Robert were fabulous hosts, friendly, helpful and fun to sit chat and have a drink with. The package of welcome essentials for the fridge etc were very much appreciated, especially arriving on a Sunday afternoon when no shops were open. We hope to come back here very soon, and are looking forward to catching up when we next can visit. We feel we have met some good friends for our future life in nearby Masseret when we eventually move out there (after the pain of renovating our farmhouse and barn)!

Summary: We had a lovely week at La Porcherie. The gite is lovely, very clean and well decorated with high standard of electrical goods. Jane and Rob , the owners, are friendly and very helpful. We can highly recommend staying at this property. The area is rural and totally unspoilt.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at La Porcherie from the moment we arrived. A great welcome from Jane and Rob then led into the most relaxing holiday, in a beautiful part of France. For cyclists, it's hilly but traffic free, great training rides - I was one happy Mamil ! The gite was amazing, it had everything we wanted, really well appointed and very comfortable. The garden is a real delight, as is the countryside around the area - we enjoyed many days relaxing and soaking up the sun and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who when called upon answered all our questions on where to visit and even helped us when our small dog had some issues with the local wildlife! Plenty of beautiful places to visit all within 30 minutes, we can't recommend it enough. Thank you Jane and Rob for our best holiday in France (20 years we've been visiting France too). Summary: Jane and Robert were the perfect hosts. Absolutely everything that anyone could need had been thought of. We loved the tranquility of the setting. There is a large decking area which is fantastic for sitting out on day or night. The large garden is fully fenced in which made it very relaxing for us as we had our dog with us. We would highly recommend visiting this beautiful cottage.

Summary: We had a lovely time at Jane and Robert's gite. On arrival we were shown around the property and given a meal by them with a glass of wine. The gite had every thing we required all in excellent condition and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay enjoyable. Couldn't have asked for any more.
