Summary: This is an old half timbered house, so cute! The two bedrooms are upstairs, with a toilet, and downstairs is the main bathroom with a shower, and a washing machine, and living room, dining/kitchen. The owner lives next door, so it's very easy to contact them, although we had no issues. There are many castle ruins to explore close by, and driving anywhere, you are driving through vineyards and small Alsatian villages with their half timbered houses and blue shutters. Down the street is a road we walked down every afternoon, with a soccer field and horses, gardens, etc. Rose bushes were everywhere.

Summary: We got a warm welcome from Laure. The house contained all we needed, was spotless and warm. Lobsann is a small village with only 1 restaurant, but Soultz is really nearby with bakeries and a large supermarket. Forests and chateaux all around you, perfect!

Summary: Me and my 3 children stayes here on our way home from Venice and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The property was larger than I thought based on description but still a cute classic French country home. My brother was in the area and was allowed to park his camper van in the drive to come and visit the kids, which made our stay even more perfect and thank you so much to Laure and her family for allowing it. The interior while traditional was also very modern and could have happily stayed longer. Laure and her family live in the home next door so available for any issues. Happy to book again for future travels.

Summary: We had a truly great week in Northern Alsace but were surprised to find that there was no hand-washing facility in the upstairs "bathroom" which consisted only of a toilet. There was in addition a shortage of toilet paper, soap, and washing-up liquid which meant that we needed to provide our own. The house is very attractive, with spacious rooms, particularly the kitchen. However, this was let done by the fact that, of the five mugs provided, three were either cracked or chipped. The setting is a village with no shops, in particular no boulangerie, all of which were a five-minute drive away. There is an excellent restaurant, "Les Cordons Bleus", with welcoming proprietors and lovely food (though closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) just a few minutes walk away and the village itself is most picturesque.
