Positive: Really liked the location next to the creek. It was idyllic.

Negative: Dishwasher was not emptied (left full). Bin was not emptied. We also had an unwanted visitor/s throughout the night scratching around in the bedroom. It was with disappointment that we vacated the property one night early.

Summary: We loved the location but was disappointed by the standard of the overall cleanliness.

Positive: The house next to the river, the fire pit, the fully furnished kitchen, the beds, and the clean bathrooms.

Negative: There aren’t many things to do at this time of year. Would be excellent in the Summer or Fall. Nevertheless, we did venture out doing so hiking and visited a zoo in Binghamton.

Positive: Very pretty location and quaint old house. Updated kitchen and easy parking.

Negative: I was disappointed in the steep cleaning fee ($95) for one night's stay, which was tacked on late in the process. It was hard to find the bath towels, and we never did find any hand towels. There were several coffee makers but no coffee. The hosts were not responsive to our questions. And the bed in the master bedroom was not super comfortable.

Positive: We really liked the house, very rustic and comfortable. The space outside with the little river is really nice.

Negative: The house was very dirty, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned after the last guest left, the floor was very dirty, the stove was dirty, the microwave was very dirty, the bathroom had hair in the toilet and on the bathtub wall, the bed hadn't been changed because it had someone else's hair on it, and behind the sofa in the main bedroom there was a pair of socks that had been there for at least two weeks because they were full of dust.

Summary: Beautiful house, but the cleaning is horrible

Positive: Beautiful and serene location, set on the perfect Upstate mountain road with a creek running alongside it. House and property was so inviting and cozy, the remodel really brings a lot of country charm to the house. The backyard setup outside with the lights and chairs around the fire pit by the creek was a big bonus. The place was well equipped for a long stay— wish we could have stayed longer than one night!

Negative: Though it was made, one of the beds did not look fully cleaned since last guest— noticed some debris/hairs in the sheets. They did provide extra clean bedding in a storage closet.
