The Olde Granary is situated in the quiet and peaceful county of Suffolk, set within the heart of a small family owned arable farm, it offers beautiful views of the Stour Valley countryside, traditional farm buildings and an old windmill.
The granary conversion has a wealth of character with exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and solid oak joinery features. The property has everything to make a restful stay with a balcony double bedroom, modern shower room, spacious reception room/dining area and oak framed conservatory lounge, with TV and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with a fan oven, hob, grill, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and washing machine. There is a large garden and patio area for enjoying the quiet countryside settings, with the added benefit of ample off-road parking.
Due to the heritage of the building, there is a structural beam which crosses through the bedroom. This may not be suitable for anyone with reduced mobility. Please see the pictures.

Summary: The Granary was very well equipped. Clean,tidy and comfortable, The view across the fields from the patio was beautiful and the full moon breathtaking. The beam in the bedroom was not a problem for us and made it a quirky place to stay. The ideal location to explore Suffolk. Roger and Anna came to say Hello, super friendly people.

Summary: Really enjoyed our time at the granary conversion, it is a very quant building with beautiful views. It was warm, very clean and had everything you needed. I think the only drawback was climbing the beam and stairs to go to the loo at night!
