Negative: There is a construction of a big building next door, very noisy during the day (at night it's ok). but thats not the owner fault ;)

Positive: Our stay at Charm Home was very comfortable. The space is very large (could easily accommodate a family of 4) and the facilities were great. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept in during our 2 months in SE Asia. The shower had great water pressure, temperature, and fixed shower head, which was nice. There were basic kitchen facilities, which we didn’t really use, but a bonus was a built in filtered water faucet! Another big plus was the laundry machine and balconies to sit outside and relax at night. One thing to note is that the home is on the 4th floor and there isn’t an elevator, not a problem for us but something to be aware of. The location was perfect- out of the hustle of the old quarter but still easily walkable to all the major attractions. It was nice being so close to the lake park as well to go jogging and people watching. The host was charming, accommodating, and very communicative via WhatsApp and offered to arrange a ride to the airport for us. She came to the house to collect payment, which was seamless.

Negative: This is no fault of the property, but something to note for anyone planning to book soon. There is quite a bit of construction happening in the area (two buildings on the block and renovation of an apartment below the charm home). We were out most of the day, so it wasn’t a big deal, but one of the buildings across the street continued construction through the night, so just bring earplugs to sleep.

Negative: I very much enjoyed my stay at Charm 2 home stay. It was very traditional and I enjoyed the atmosphere and relaxation of the accommodation . Excellent position for strolling around Hoan kiem lake and relaxing sitting on a bench seat viewing history of the area and the activity of many other travellers and locals. Many variety of shops to look in and discover a present for someone or a momento of Hanoi Vietnam.

Summary: My stay at Charm 2 Homestay was lovely . A taste of Vietnamese living conditions.

Positive: The homestay was perfect. We had a lot of space, two rooms and a common area. There was also a kitchen which was perfect. The location is very nice, in the French Quarter so we could walk everywhere we wanted.
