Ptit Chateau is the studio - townhouse located on the ground floor of a 300 year old property in the traditional provencal hilltop village of Ventabren.
20 minutes away from the heart of Aix, from the Marseille airport and the train station, half-way between Marseille and Avignon, 45 min drive from the seaside, and one hour away from legendary Luberon and Camargues, Ptit Chateau is well-placed. You may either choose to spend a couple of days in the peaceful and authentic surroundings before hopping on your flight or train, or stay long term to discover the region in our spacious studio that is equipped to a high standard.
The studio has a separate entrance. It is quiet and air-conditioned naturally thanks to its thick stone walls. Cool in summer and very well heated in winter Ptit Chateau welcomes guests all year round. We renovated our townhouse with love and care and respect to the traditions of provencal architecture and style. We fell under the charm of the house and the village, and we are sure so will you.
Within 20 minutes you may reach Marseille airport, TGV train station or the historical center of Aix-en-Provence. You may find the free parking spots easily in the village. The studio is fully equipped and suitable for the short-term or long-term rent.
The kitchen contains oven and microvawe, induction plates, a standart size refrigerator, cofee machine, electrical kettle and a toaster. The bathroom with italian shower has all the basics for your stay: shampoo, soap, towels and a fan. You may find iron and the ironing board in the closet of the living room.
There is a double bed in a bedroom area, and a single real bed in a bedroom area that serves as a canape when not used as a bed.
There is a little terrace outdoors where you may put 2 chairs and enjoy the views of the quiet pedestrian street, sip your morning cofee or read a book.
There is no private parking, however there is plenty of free parking spots all around the village, and two public parking lots.

Summary: I had a wonderful stay on Victoria's property. The town of Ventabren is gorgeous and the perfect home-base for traveling throughout Provence. All of the famous towns are within an hour to 90 minutes away and all of the drives are beautiful. Vika's suite is private and cosy with modern updates throughout. You will have everything you need to feel right at home, especially if you are a weary traveler who just needs some rest. The town of Ventabren is very quaint and quiet and there are days you might just want to explore the area and meet the friendly locals. Above all else, Vika is a wonderful host with great communication. If you need anything, she's a call away and quick to respond. Don't hesitate to book this stay for your trip to Provence!

Summary: We had a lovely stay in Ventabren. This place is perfect for two and near the amazing Dan B restaurant. Vika is a very hospitable and warm host. Enjoy your stay. If you like red wine, venture to Villa Minna in Saint-Cannat. Day trip to Les Calanques is perfect from this location.

Summary: The village is unique and unique is the little apartment at the beginning of the pedestrian alley .It is beautifully decorated with rock walls painted clear , a perfect bathroom ,a kitchen ,a double bed and a single one. Comfortable little couch ,chairs and table .You can sit in the bench in front of the stairs of the alley that takes you to the top of this amazing village which has a beautiful church ,some shops and restaurants .Even one with Michelin star that is creative but quite espencive . The owner Victoria ,is incredibly nice , chatty in different languages and adorable ,ready to give you suggestions for what to do or where to eat .A great place to be !

Summary: This was an absolutely beautiful place in a magical town. Every detail was perfect and we couldn’t stop admiring all of the special touches to the apartment. This place alone makes me was to visit provance again, I’ve been thinking about planning a trip for my moms next major birthday now. Stay here and definitely take a walk up the hill through the photo-op town and enjoy the breathtaking views up above.
