Positive: Vincent and his wife were spectacular hosts. The daily breakfast that Vincent prepared was restaurant quality! His crepes were to die for and there was choices of fruit, yogurt and pastries galore.

Negative: The bed in our room was the firmest I have ever slept on. Only con of the whole stay.

Positive: Wow. Wow. Wow. That’s all we can say about this stay. The owners are brilliant and were happy to accomodate us when we had a last minute change of travel plans. The breakfast is delicious. It’s truly a home away from home and we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Negative: The absolutely only thing was, there was no seal on the shower screen so water ran all over the floor when showering. But that is being really picky and we just used a hand towel to plug the gap.

Positive: Beautiful historic chateau in a quiet area so you will need a car to get around. Owner was super nice and the breakfast just blew us away. So delicious with hot and cold options. Room and bathroom were very large and bedroom windows had a great view of the gardens. Really comfortable bed.

Negative: Room was a bit dusty & could have used a deeper cleaning. Pillows could be improved.

Positive: Excellent communication before we got there. Always answered our questions quickly. Once there we were warmly greeted & showed to our beautiful historic room. Absolute gorgeous peaceful place. Our tea/coffee/water was topped up daily. The place is spotless. The breakfast was out of this world. The hosts were the most friendly I’ve ever encountered. Close to Caen, Bayeux, Arromanches-les-Bains & the German bunkers.
