Positive: Pedro and Anna made us very welcome. The pool was really lovely, warm, well maintained, with sun loungers and a shaded area, plus colourful lighting! The beds were comfortable (bath and hand towels supplied) and the bathroom, with its large rain shower head, was well stocked with shampoo & shower gel. Secure off-road car parking. Calafell beach is brilliant.

Negative: There was limited worktop space in the kitchen/sitting room. A few more utensils would be useful and I have suggested these to Pedro.

Summary: Friendly, hot, Spanish, brilliant. Good location for our trip to Barcelona, with train access from El Vendrell.

Positive: The property was clean and all what we needed was available and functional. The owner left the swimming pool operating and clean even if it wasn’t the season. Grocery shops are 10mn drive away.

Negative: Mosquitos…oh that was a bummer ! The owner had many fixes in place but it didn’t stop us from being stung badly even the kids gave up on staying in the garden. The owner said that he will make extra efforts for the coming season.

Positive: Size of swimming pool, lovely kept garden, large bedrooms, plenty of outdoor seating both in/out of shade. Did not use barbecue but all facilities available and well kept. Pedro was particularly friendly and helpful.
