Summary: Our stay on campus in the central west coast of Newfoundland was a perfect spot for day trips to explore the Gros Morne, Port aux Basque, and L’anse aux Meadows! The separate rooms worked for each of us giving us some separation and privacy. The common areas gave us the opportunity to make our communal meals and enjoy relaxation and game time. It was such a pleasure not having a television!!!!

Summary: Very minimal in the kitchen for utensils. No dishpan rack. Very clean. TV very small. It was very hot inside and the only way to cool down was to leave all the doors and windows open. The one fan was falling apart, but we were happy to have it. Two guys were smoking outside one of the bedrooms and the smoke was blowing in. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations. A few more kitchen utensils and dishes, perhaps a big plastic bowl and salad spinner, would be good. Perhaps people steal them?

Summary: A university residence available for other uses in the summer. A good location to operate from. Good parking. Very security conscious. Unexpectedly ended up with two rooms each with single beds. Not sure if I missed that or just misread something.

Summary: The chalet unit we stayed in had 4 bedrooms, each with their own ley and lock. There was a bathroom with a shower and another with toilet and sink. There was small kitchen with basic dishes, cutlery etc. There was a small living room with two couches. The bedrooms were very basic as one one would expect in a university dorm situation. They provided a thin sheet and thin blanket, small bath towel, hand towel and facecloth. The mattresses were hard in my opinion and I found my hips etc. to be quite uncomfortable, mind you I am 62 years old. Bring your own hairdryer. No food service but there is a good coffee shop down the road. A family travelling on a budget would find this a good place to stay.

Summary: The rooms and chalet overall were clean and spacious. However the pillows and towels definitely need to be improved. Also, the sound barrier from the chalet above us was not so good.
