1400 square foot (130 square metre) semi-detached house. Furnished to very high standard. Located in centre of Zell am See within walking distance of ski lifts, restaurants and shopping. Off street parking for two cars. Probably the best house available to rent in Zell. Glacier skiing at Kaprun 5kms away is accessible all year round.
SECURITY DEPOSIT. A security deposit of €500 is payable to the owner 3 weeks prior to arrival. If less than 3 weeks to your arrival date, it is payable immediately after booking. Payment will generally be made by bank transfer or other method convenient to both the guest and the owner. Assuming everything is OK, the deposit will be refunded in full within 7 days of departure.
About the owner: My wife and I and our two children live in Ireland. Having been to Zell a number of times in Winter, we decided to stay for a 3 week summer holiday (in this house) and fell in love with the place. We bought a new apartment in Zell in 2007 and have recently bought this house. Both are unusual in that they are spacious 3 bed properties right in the centre of Zell. Both are treated as our home away from home. We stay in our house or apartment at different times of the year.
Whether you are looking for a quiet holiday or some vigorous hill walking or activities on the lake, or simply want guaranteed access to year round skiing (with the Kaprun glacier only 5kms away), Zell should be able to meet your needs. From numerous restaurants to luxury hotels, Zell is what you make of it. An old town (they call it a city) with lots of charm and plenty of ways to spend your money whether your budget is large or small.

Summary: this comfortable house is in a great location with easy access to the lake and ski lifts. It is beside the top hotesl and within minutes walk of the centre of the gorgeous village and all its amenities. the house itself is spacious and well appointed,everything work with excellent sound system tv and wifi. there is plenty of room to sleep a family or a group of friends I would stay there again

Summary: Cannot praise this property enough!!! The house has everything and more than anyone can expect in a rental property. Clean, organised, bright and easy. My teenagers were happy with the big TV and wifi. My husband was happy never having to search for a parking spot. Being sports enthusiasts the washer and dryer were a life saver. The convenient location was great. Just a quick walk to the lake or into town. Zell am See is a very easy town with all services, and a starting point to activities in the mountains or on the lake. The communications with the owners was easy, and they worked with us on anything we needed with fast responses. They even provided a detailed booklet with all the information we needed. We celebrated our 21 wedding anniversary at nearby Schloss Prielau. Amazing service and wonderful and creative food. Service was great all over Zell am See. I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in Zell am See. Do not even hesitate for a minute!

Summary: A perfect holiday house to rent - plenty of space and character, and comfortable for a large family. The location is fantastic - a very short walk to the lake, and also to supermarket, ice rink and ski lifts. There are lovely activities for all ages of children - particular hits were summer tobogganing at Saalfelden, the adventure trail high on the mountain above Zell, and the lido by the lake. A walk on the glacier by Grossglockner was an unforgettable experience (as was the drive to get there).

Summary: Our visit to the house in Zell was excellent. The house was well positioned in a quiet road two minutes from the lake side and childrens summer park and two minutes from the main shopping area and restaurants. The house matched up to the description and was in excellent condition and immculately clean.It is a really good size for a family of four as we were but equally is roomy enough for more people. Zell is a lovely place - very pretty and has reasonable restaurants. Customer service was fine - all worked as planned and communication was good. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this property to future holiday makers.

Summary: We celebrated Christmas 2010 in the O'Haras beautiful house in Zell am See and we can highly recommend it. The house was just perfect both for our three children and their grand parents for a weeks holiday in the snow. Lots of space for 7 persons and very nicely furnished with a personal touch and a quality you will rarely find even in high end holiday appartments. We all profited from the perfect location in the centre of the city and a few minutes walk from the skilifts. Zell am See is a beautiful place with excellent opportunities for all kinds of leisure activities.
