Summary: Fantastic place the only downer was that the meal l chose wad unavailable and so l went with the same potion as my wife, rolled rib eye, and to be cooked the same, medium rare. I found mine rather dry and yet my wife's was cooked as she asked Anthony was

Summary: What a delightful place to stay in Wales - in a castle! We were VERY pleased with our stay at the Chateau Rhinafa. It has been maintained very well and it shows the pride of the entire staff. The woman at reception was welcoming and very helpful, showing us several alternative rooms that were available at the time. The breakfast was well thought out with a buffet for cereals, breads, fruit, yogurt and juices. From the table we were able to order a variety of cooked items. It was a delicious meal. Our entire stay was a special treat. We highly recommend Chateau Rhinafa (in Welsh pronunciation, the “f” is sounded as a “v.”

Summary: This is a stunning property in a superb location. The common parts of the main building are just fabulous and worth exploring. Staff are just lovely. We were staying in Rhianfa Lodge within the hotel grounds and whilst the room was clean and comfortable, the TV had reception problems that the staff tried very hard to fix but it persisted. Breakfast was disappointing with rock hard inedible bacon and strange consistency to the scrambled eggs although the croissants and coffee were the best I've had in the UK. The only other issue was noise disturbance when other rooms ran showers or flushed loos.

Summary: We arrived on a Thursday and where amazed at the Chateau's architecture, the staff where very welcoming and the room had a fantastic view of the Menia Strait, we looked at the sample menu the staff told us to download but it didn't really appeal to us so we ate at the Four Crowns ( recommended) later we retired to or room for a restful night, the breakfast was very nice though, unfortunately the following night wasn't so restful, there was a reception for - I'm guessing a Wedding, the live music started at 8pm and lasted until 3.20am, I didn't get any sleep until turned 4am, this has completely ruined the stay at the Chateau and won't be returning, at over £330 a night to stay here the bear minimum I would expect is sleep, I think it's just bad management as we were not warned there would be noise, I think the Chateau needs to dedicate the entire building to Weddings so the only people disrupted are the wedding guests themselves and not other paying guests
