Positive: What a wonderful property-- thank you so much for sharing with us this space. The attention to detail from even before we arrived was meticulous. The staff was helpful and attentive without being too aggressive. They recommended a good restaurant, helping us to make a reservation. Breakfast was superb, set and laid out at the time we requested with the most incredible place settings and dishes. We loved staying here and would highly recommend.

Negative: While the property is so beautiful, it's proximity to the river invites many mosquitos! We'd recommend bringing bug spray or a citronella band in the summer.

Positive: Lovely warm welcome. Beautiful setting. Room was comfortable. The breakfast was superb. The owner helped us book a local restaurant and arrange a taxi there and back. Food there was excellent.

Negative: The gardens needed some work. But was still lovely.

Positive: The chateau is amazingly beautiful, situated on the riverside. We really liked everything starting from meeting Olivier, the host of the chateau. Upon arrival, he suggested to us a nice short walk into the jungle, then reaching a sidewalk café next to a river. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy, with a spectacular view overlooking the garden and the river. The bathroom was tastefully decorated. The breakfast was very delicious. I would be more than happy to return to this chateau when I visit the region again.

Positive: Absolutely charming! Low key and lovely. Set directly on the Loiret, visible through grand windows you feel as if you are in your own country home. Instantly relaxing to watch the deer in the backyard, stroll and smell the roses. Olivier is so sweet and serves a delightful breakfast as he brings this chateau to life in his “spare time.” Close to Orléans but not at all touristy. Would have loved to stay longer and explored the natural beauty, biking and hiking trails.
