Positive: A beautiful old Chateau in a quiet rural location.

Negative: We arrived early in a heat wave and our room was very hot with no fan offered and we were unable to open the windows. The owner of the house wasn't very welcoming when we arrived. This did eventually change and we had a nice meal on the terrace. I realise we arrived early and i had made a mistake and hadn't seen the later check in time but we weren't made to feel very welcome on arrival.

Positive: We had a fantastic experience at Château de Sury with the warmest of welcomes from the lady of the house. The château is beautifully decorated and located in a peaceful, serene setting—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We slept wonderfully and even had a lovely conversation with our host. The breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. We can’t thank the family enough for their hospitality. Highly recommended!

Negative: Tip: If you arrive in the evening, it can be a bit tricky to find where exactly to go with the car. A small illuminated sign with the château’s name could be helpful for easier navigation.
