Positive: This hôtel is a pure gem, a hidden secret, the kind of place you would want to keep for yourself. Well maintained, clean, grandiose... Isabelle is so welcoming, nice, and accomodating. We had a near-palace experience, thanks to her and her Sister.

Negative: A restaurant would be a nice addition to the hôtel.

Positive: Isabel was the only member of staff we saw and dealt with. She was extremely knowledgable of the area, places to eat in the evening, helpful and accommodating. We were told on our arrival we were the only guests in the whole Chateau due to it being the end of the season but were still able to book for 2 nights stay. Lovely tasty breakfast provided by Isabel :)

Negative: Unfortunately our booking showed we should have had a room overlooking the pool area and courtyard, which we didn't. Also the pool wasn't available to use during our stay. We weren't offered a reduction in price due to this facility being unavailable to us.

Summary: Overall our stay was great and would recommend to family/friends and we would return ourselves.

Positive: The house and grounds were beautiful - very peaceful and well maintained (there were even live fish the pond). The pool area was the same - a perfect, heated pool with a view of the valley. The team running the hotel couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. We had a brilliant stay and I'm already thinking of when we can go back.

Negative: It's in a fairly remote location so you need to drive a minimum of 10 mins to find bars/shops/restaurants - on the plus side, being so remote means there's no neighbours or car traffic so it's even more peaceful as a result.
