Brand new apartments located in the Historic former 1st Baptist Church, built in 1908. All 7 units are on the upper floor of the annex on the West side of the building. The whole building has gone through a historic approved remodel. 2nd-floor units, no elevator.
2 small dogs under 30lbs are allowed at this property, no cats. There will be a 30$ pet fee added to your stay. For stays over 2 weeks we require an extra $400 deposit and any extra cleaning will be billed. If you sleep with your pet or we find pet hair in the bedding, we will charge extra for cleaning, please let us know in advance.
Apartment 203, located on the North end of the building 3 windows. This is a very large 537sf studio with a king bed, Twin sofa bed, full-sized kitchen with a Huge Bathroom with a bath/shower combo, 50” Smart Tv, hardwood flooring.
Apartments are available for short or longer stays. There is really nothing like this in Yakima, located right in the center of town and walkable to all the downtown restaurants, wineries, breweries and bars, county courthouse and city hall. Amenities include, free high-speed cable WIFI and large smart WIFI TV, Full kitchen with full-sized stove and refrigerator, fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. One comfortable King size bed and one Twin size sofa bed most suited for a small adult or child. Each apartment has a full-size bathtub and tiled shower combo.
Each Apartment has electric heat/air-conditioning mini-split for your comfort.
We do provide enough paper products, soap and shampoo for approximately 5 days (for 2 people), anything exceeding that you will have to provide yourself.
We have 4 washer/ dryers on site. No maid service, but we have cleaning available at extra cost.
We have off-street designated parking for 1 car and on-street parking for others.
If you sleep with your pet or we find pet hair in the bedding, we will charge extra for cleaning, please let us know in advance.

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the 1908 Church. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and AC perfect! Central to our needs for the weekend. The church is lovely. ONLY downside was some of the surrounding area outside of the church. A few homeless gatherings. We were not impacted. We would stay again.

Summary: The accommodations were roomy and lovely. I had read prior reviews about noise- but there was none (also no event during our time). There were homeless outside the building- but not in high numbers. Starbucks and Am/Pm across the street. Restaurants and brewery in walking distance. Will definitely stay again.

Summary: This is my second time staying at this location in two different rooms. Each were clean, comfortable, and MUCH BETTER than a hotel! I came to Yakima for State Basketball and knew that I didn’t want to stay in a hotel with high schoolers running around. Not only was this a great alternative, the historic aspect, comfortable amenities, and full kitchenette was beyond expectation. This will always be my go to place in Yakima.

Summary: Very clean, lovely space. However - the noise from events underneath the room can be window and floor rattling. It's far beyond what earplugs will cover. On top of that, there is no way to enforce the supposed "quiet hours" that start at 10pm. The normal number to call closes at 9pm, and the after-hour emergency number seems to be unwilling to do anything about sound. Calling the police also doesn't work. The police now require that you meet them to sign a report -- and so you'd have to wait outside the church at 11pm or 12 am outside the three locked doors until they show up. Personally, I'd avoid for anything on the weekend or make sure you confirm when events occur before booking.

Summary: We had a great time staying in this historic location. The property managers were very responsive with questions and anything we needed or requested. Will probably stay there again!

Summary: I'm referring to the way the unit it prepared. I would hope the cleaning and prep would be done professionally. But it's not. The hygenity is a function of the previous guest as the cleaning is up to them, not a professional who you could expect to work to standards, and be accountable for any sloppiness. Good luck!
