Positive: The owner old lady is super nice and charming. Her food is yummy.

Negative: My room didn't seem to have airconditioning, only a fan. Bathroom in that particular room was not great/not very clean but they allowed me to use the next bathroom in the very slightly more premium room which was at least okay. (Nobody was staying in that room that night) There are some local bugs that are not bed bugs (so don't worry)

Positive: The homestay is run by a lovely couple who is super friendly, helpful and informative. I could easily spend a day talking to them and their homecooked breakfast is just topnotch - I felt so homey! On top of that, their location is a short walk away from Sawahlunto's must-sees. Oh, and did I mention they've got cute cats too? ;)

Negative: No hot shower.

Summary: Feeling right at home in the heart of Sawahlunto.

Positive: Hospitality of the host is just amazing. The owner will make sure you are well fed and have a good sleep. Location is perfect! Close to some landmark of Sawahlunto like Bukit Asam Building, Gudang Ransum also Museum Mbah Soero

Negative: expecting hot water but there is none. the bathroom needs to be cleaned up a little bit.

Summary: the hospitality of Sawahlunto at its best!
