Summary: It was as a great place for an overnight. Lovely places to relax and enjoy the river without camping. It’s an isolated location, be flexible.

Summary: We couldn't ask for a better stay. Oceanfront location, we loved watching the sunrise, sunset from our room & taking long walks on the boardwalk along the ocean. The staffs were wonderful. Room is nicely renovated, clean, bed comfy. Good light breakfast was included & the choices were very adequately thoughtful. We walked over to The Sea Chest Oyster Bar nearby for dinner, fantastic food & services there too. Hope to come back for another restful stay soon.

Summary: Positives: VERY close to Yosemite - it’s one of the closest hotels to the park (10 miles away) if you don’t camp or stay in Yosemite valley Somewhat clean - my room was clean, but the bathroom had flies coming out of the sink Parking - lots of parking available Negatives: Price - they charge very high rates for what is a two star hotel. They gouge because of proximity to the park No real food options - you have to drive many miles to get food (or bring from the park). There is a small minimart on site for some basics. They is also a restaurant, but it also charges ridiculous prices due to lack of competition. Terrible internet - this is my biggest criticism. Absolutely ridiculous for a hotel in 2025. The lady said that it’s not their fault. There are simply too many guests using bandwidth. Well, get more bandwidth!! Stop being so cheap. With your exorbitant rates, you can afford to buy better service. Basically, expect no internet or limited internet from 5-6pm onwards until the next morning (I left every day super early). On weekends when it’s more crowded, forget about it. Just awful.

Summary: The property was great for what it is, a big step above camping. The place was clean and the room was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a market with a good variety of food and gift items and camping items. There was a small take out restaurant with decent food. The roaring river by the hotel was spectacular and we enjoyed relaxing by ut daily!

Summary: Great location, thankful for the snack bar that had great food options. I would recommend the place to friends. It’s old and you have to look beyond that I guess. The beds were comfortable and clean.

Summary: Very remote older spartan property by the National parks service. White knuckle drive descending mountains with spectacular views. Had to pause drive as workers were dealing with forest fire. Room would have been nice in the 1920s. No TV Has a small food market and dining choices are at a snack bar. Great for outdoors people and those who would like to get away from it all. I they do have WiFi. Bad choice by me.

Summary: The lodge is right next to a beautiful river. The staff was pleasant and courteous. The bed was comfortable. The food was pretty good at the sandwich shop. Those are the positives. Check-in is exactly at 4 pm. The desk is in the market area and is not staffed continuously. The lodge was built in the 70s and not updated since. Actual keys to get into the rooms. No TV in the rooms. No water pressure in the showers. Toilets don’t flush well. Bring alternative entertainment. There is WiFi tho. It just needs some serious updating!

Summary: Great location. The burger and toasted cheese sandwiches that we ate in the snack bar were as good as any others we had in California. Price is high for the room but that is to be expected when staying in a NP and being surrounded by all the natural beauty. All the staff we met were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and suited our needs.
