Positive: The location was great for dog walking. The hot tub was also great. The cabin was well equipped, spacious, very comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We had a really relaxing stay and the location was handy for where I was working all week. It was a great base to chill out each night after an intense days working.

Negative: Access to the cabin was difficult (down a path through two gates) when carrying your bags in especially when other cabin users took the trollies provided and didn't bring them back! The steps up to the cabin are difficult to climb even for able bodied people. There is no disability access. There is also no mobile phone signal (we wanted to book extra nights, the owners could not arrange this directly for us and asked us to call the booking agent, but we could not, so booked somewhere else instead for the extra nights). There could be more information regarding places to eat in the welcome pack. The pack gives names of pubs and postcodes but provides no other details, e.g. some of the places to eat were not open on a Monday! so we had some wasted travel. We got some menus from the New Inn (food really good) and put them in the pack and wrote some useful information on them e.g. Satnav doesn't take you to the Inn which is a little further down the road. If you want something other than pub food, there is no information in the pack. Wifi signal keeps dropping out which affects internet access and also the TV. The oven was not very efficient. If considering taking a dog be mindful of their temperament around sheep and large birds. Our dog was fine but some dogs may be reactive. There are hundreds of large birds on the lake (they also spend a lot of time in the fields) and a large number of sheep roaming freely.

Summary: We had a great stay but those with a disability may struggle to enter the property

Positive: Location is perfect. Shops not far away. Great place to relax. Fishing available so men were happy. Lovely decking area with hot tub, bbq, sun loungers, big table etc.

Negative: Fridge is small but we took our own big electric chill box. Beds weren’t overly comfy but slept well still.

Summary: Perfect for relaxing, fishing walks watching the sheep, duck, geese etc.

Negative: Bed were hard and no toaster lol. Strange when everything else there we needed. Saying that it was still a 10 out of 10. We'll deffo be back.

Positive: Cedar Cabin was so beautiful, clean, and facilities were fantastic they included, towels, tea and coffee, bin bags all the necessities which really helped. The view of the lake was divine, so relaxing. The hot tub was perfect and the benches, sofas outside were brilliant and enough for 7 adults. It was more than we hoped for. The bedrooms are a great size and the sofa bed was surprisingly big enough. Andy was a great host and allowed a later check out so flexible. we couldn’t have asked for anything better and will be recommending to family and friends. The perfect getaway on the perfect location, secluded, fun, and relaxing.

Summary: We couldn’t have asked for anything better!
