Positive: Love the sound of the wind through the trees and the river from the deck. Great log burner. Comfy bed. Love the riverside walk and the birdlife.

Negative: The kitchen is very basic and a small oven would be a welcome addition. The road there was very corrugated- a lot worse than last visit.

Positive: We had the most wonderful stay at Caversham Woods this past weekend in Cottage No. 4. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and walking along the river we were lucky enough to watch some rafters enjoying the rapids. The trails are beautifully maintained, and we thoroughly enjoyed our walks — our doggies were just as delighted with the surroundings as we were! Feeding the horses was such a treat, and meeting the adorable Great Dane pup was a highlight.

Summary: Everything about this place exudes peace and charm, a true gem! We'll definitely be back!

Positive: What a wonderful place. We loved the privacy of the little cottage. We liked that it was enclosed with a garden space so our son could roam around but not too far. The farm grounds are lovely, and we most especially LOVED how close the river was to walk down to. It has an amazing little boat house and grass space to picnic. Everything was amazing. The animals around, horses and sheep were nice to hear and see! Very much enjoyed our stay.

Negative: The only thing that was an issue was the indoor fireplace, seemed a bit faulty so it created quite a bit of smoke inside. We didn’t end up using it much. But that really wasn’t a big issue.

Summary: Absolutely amazing place that I would definitely recommend!

Positive: Secure, scenic and peaceful Sufficiently equipped kitchen. Notified and updated on the water supply issue that was resolved promptly Bedrooms were well dressed with good linen and inners.

Negative: The 4th bedroom in cottage 1 was separated and isolated which was not in description and an unexpected inconvenience. The shower mixer in 4th room was loose and came off. Wall Heaters and fireplace are not as effective.

Positive: Cosy and peaceful, set amongst beautiful scenery. Lovely fireplace to keep warm in winter in the lounge. Comfortable beds - the double rooms have fantastic views.

Negative: Not a negative comment on the property itself but be aware that it is on a gravel road which was a bit rough in places at the time of our visit.
